Hey Everyone, sorry I have not been able to provide this update in some time... I got a promotion at work in July and the last month and a half has been crazy with making the transition.

Looking into how to do the payments for the lanyards has long been on my to do list, but it keeps getting pushed down the list due to work...

Anyhoo... It looks like what I am going to need to do is send everyone an invoice from Paypal if you would like to pay that way or I can email my address so you can send checks. Either way I will need personal emails from everyone who would like to purchase the lanyards.

We currently have 36 ppl interested in the lanyards, we will need order 100 (that seems to be lanyard labs minimum). If everyone wants to wait until January and see how many people we have signed up before we do payments we can do that. I would like to order the lanyards by April 1st so that we can have we have a little bit of a buffer and making sure they get shipped in time.

Let me know how you feel about this!!

Also I will get the roll call updated this weekend.

We just booked this cruise while we were on the Dream last weekend! Woo hoo!

It seems so far away though. Let the countdown begin! Can't wait to see you all there

Just curious, what kind of room were you able to book for this cruise? The only rooms available online are concierge family. I was going to try to move our cruise to a different date during the summer (due to the hospital at which I work moving to a new hospital building the day after we return, and they don't want us to take vacation!), but the price for our same room in June, July, & August has DOUBLED IN PRICE! I don't know how anyone can afford to take this cruise at those prices! And to think my DH and I were concerned about the cost being much higher than any other cruise we've taken including DCL when we initially booked it! I'm just thankful I booked it when I did!

Paypal works great for us. Just let us know when you need the $ and how much. Now or January either one is fine with us. Just let us know.

I know you've got to be swamped with everything you've got going on.
On a side note, Val, I have the digitized design of our group name design almost finished. Will post pictures after it is finished and stitched out. I'll hopefully have it in 4 x 4 as well as 10 x 6 formats so you can see.

I have heard different times... I know on our one cruise.. it was 2 weeks before for our sail date before rooms were assigned. I think the cruise coming up next week was about 2 months ago...

On our Dream cruise this summer the room ssignments started coming out 4 weeks before the cruise. We got our assignment three weeks before the cruise. This is our first time sailing with a room number and now I kinda wish we had gone GTY. Before we have always had GTY and have always received a nice upgrade.

WOW, did we have a douzy of a week, this year has seemed to be the nonstop house repairs... It all began in February with the furnace and then our refrigerator went out, and something else happened in the summer and now we woke up on Saturday to a puddle of water outside the house and it turned out we had a waterline leak. Luckily it turned out to be a leak on the copper and the repair was only a couple of hundred dollars. However, our water bill just came into today $106

DH has been out of town a lot lately for work, and between my job and running the kids to soccer, dance, karate and afterschool things have been so crazy. I am counting down the days to the cruise now.

Oh and the DS has decided this is the year to start dating so that has been a whole new experience for me. I am not sure I am liking this whole teenager thing.

How has everyone else been fairing since school started back?

We are getting ready to go to WDW for 2 weeks. We leave Saturday
DD is back at college. We are flying her down for 3 days next weekend so she can be there to celebrate her dads birthday

We leave tomorrow for the trek to the port. We leave on the Dream on Sun. Friday is MNSSHP. so excited!!

We just got back from the Dream today and had a spectacular time. Now, I can focus my attention on this cruise.

What have I missed?? I've been so focused on that one, that I've only been glancing here.

The Dream was beautiful and I can't wait to sail on the Fantasy. The 3-night cruise was just too short!!!

I know what you mean about three days being too short. The Dream is too big to experience everything. I am glad the Fantasy is doing 7 days!! I doubt even 7 days will be enough

We were sitting on our balcony at BLT at about 11:30 today and 2 DCL busses pulled up and loaded people on to go to the Dream. Only 233 days and that will be us. Can't wait.
