Le and I are in cabin 8570 and as I said on the FB page, we will be glad to add you to our list. We will be spending a week at WDW. We plan on going back in a couple of years or so and going to Universal again. We only do that park every 3 years or so.

So looking forward to the cruise and meeting each of you.

Remember we will be at the Cape on Friday and will be eating at FishLips if anyone else will be near or there let me know and we will try to meet up.

what do all these things mean?

Translation (as I understand it!): gty is a guaranteed room onboard. VGT is a guarantee of a room with a verandah. There is also OGT - Oceanview guarantee, and IGT - inside guarantee. When you book one of these you don't get to choose your cabin assignment, one is given to you sometime before the cruise.

Are you VGT or GTY? I'm VGT and got mine 45 days out, but I've heard the GTY's sometimes don't get assigned until embarkation day!

You must have been GTY status. IGT,OGT,VGT have never been assigned so early. I think your getting the two confused. GTY rooms are usually assigned 60-45 days out from the cruise. IGT,OGT,VGT are usually assigned 12 days out but in some cases you might not get your stateroom assignment until you arrive at port.

Just watched the Fantasy leave the port with my DH saying in the background, we'll be there in two weeks!!!

Got all the FE gifts done and am fixin to bag them, got the suitcases out and the last of the laundry is almost done. Now to clean a little more to find all my cameras and accessories.

Four more days til we leave and still so much to do!
