Well we took out the scuba equipment for the first dive of the year yesterday. Still a little chilly to lake dive right now, but we wanted to go through our skills for a bit. After two dives at 70 degrees we decided to call it a day. I cant wait to hit that tropical water!

Just watched the Dream sailaway. My coworker is on that boat. This is a wish trip for his family. I can hardly wait to talk to him when he gets back to hear his stories.

So we had a wedding to go to in Ft lauderdale last weekend. While I was there, I realized it was only 2 weeks before the Derby and I hadn't booked my flight yet, hadnt shopped for a hat or a dress or anything! I booked my flight ths week, bought a hat tonight, will shop for a dress tomorrow ... But now I'm realizing that by the time I get back from the Derby, I'll only have 18 days before the cruise! I'm starting to get stressed! I'm always a last minute kind of person, but a cruise is different from a week at the beach where I can pick up things that I've forgotten once I get there ... And I don't have to dress for dinner at the beach!

So much to do, so little time. If I don't get my act together, we may be that crazy naked family that y'all see wandering ' round the ship :rotfl:

:rotfl2: We are right there with you. I think I have finally decided on my FE today and starting to think about packing. It is crazy how it seemed to take forever to get here and now that it is so close I am so unprepared.

Happy MAY people!!!!!!! We are going on a cruise THIS month!!!! WoooHooo :yay:

I can't believe we are this close! So exciting :yay:

I must say though - I can only peek at this thread every so often because you all stress me out with the countdowns! :rotfl:

I need more time to make my lists and take care of everything. Hopefully I'll get something done when the kids finish school on 5/17 and I get some time off from work.

Happy Wednesday to you all!

I can so relate to this - the cruise is so close and I still have so much to do

Hi all! I won't be joining you on your cruise (going on the Fantasy in 9 days!!) but I just wanted to pass along some information! I found a really good deal in Grand Cayman for Dolphin Swims at Dolphin Cove. The price is so good its insane, and I thought since everyone has been so nice on my board that all DCL cruisers must be (this will be my first time on Disney!) and I figured why not share the info! Maybe some of you are still planning last minute like me

Enjoy your cruise!

wanting to check my numbers for the fe with others that are doing seperate gifts for the goys and girls 18 and under i counted 23 boys and 39 girls and total of 46 cabins can sonone help me confirm this?

Heh its like the quite before the storm. This is the slowest the board has been in a while. Everybody must be PACKING!!!

Did you guys hear that Dreams Unlimited is doing gift baskets for all 7-night cruises booked through them out of Port Canaveral? They look neat. Just another thing for me to get excited about.

QUOTE=Magic3forme;44726758]So John asks last night.. is it possible for me to go to London next month... sure.. when... May 20-25????? knowing our luck if he did actually do this...I would have to meet him in Orlando on Saturday at the ship. :rolleyes1
OMG---can we say EXTREMELY tight scheduling???? :hourglass You might as well have him meet you at the airport in FL instead of at the airport in Atlanta! I'd be crazy trying to get everything finished, packed, the kids ready, and trying NOT to forget anything if that was me! My answer would be--NOT unless you HAVE to go! Oh I feel for you Val! :scared:[

Thanks for the info! I did a google search and the information I found says we cannot take fruit into Grand Cayman or Mexico. I will definitely bring granola bars or something instead.

Thanks for the heads up on this--we were planning on just grabbing a couple of pieces of fruit for the excursions as well (as I, too, am hypoglycemic--definitely don't want that blood sugar dropping--not a good thing). So I think we'll pick up some granola bars or something to take with us as well.

your husband gets to go go to London once a month? lucky guy! ;)

Hes been to all kinds of great places. ( Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Paris, China and Japan)...

HOLY COW!!!! And I thought traveling in a military family as I was growing up was great! And my question then is---does he ever take you with him or does he always go alone? It'd be great if you could go with him every once in a while!

My numbers show what you have as being correct--but don't go souly on my say so! I've been known to be wrong!
