Aulani was right next door to our hotel. It is simply amazing!! We did a tour of it, and wow, Disney is definitely doing it right. A true snorkel pool, water slides, lazy river.. I could go on and on. if we ever go back to Hawaii, we will be staying there.

I hope I can visit that BEAUTIFUL resort one day! We went to Hawaii last summer and I cried when we had to leave! I made my DH promise he'd bring me back one day...soon!

I have an idea I might steal from my friend, but it might be 2 notches above my creativity level.

Just read about an idea that I think would be awesome for our group. There is a thread about matching shirts, and someone said their Dis Group had matching Lime Green (Disboard color) shirts they wore on Sea Days so they could recognize each other. If we can find some lime green t-shirts, we could put our beautiful group logo on them! What does everyone think?

I might try and do the logo on a shirt, but not lime green!! I look awful in that color!!

I've been on a couple of cruises and we've used Cafe' Press to set up a private sale. The person that set it up, made sure that we didn't "make" any money on the purchases, we just were all able to buy the shirts and we all matched. It was great!

I'd be interested in lanyards. However some of us will get lanyards for being castaway members. Will those not be worth using?

I am personally not a fan of the CC lanyards, the material is scratchy and a lot thicker than the ones I have seen you can have made.
the past 2 cruises the lanyards were made special for the group/ name
ours would say Mickeys Memorial Day Fantasy on the lanyard ( easy to spot others on this thread). and you can pick any color lanyard you want. and you have a card made that has your screen name on it too.

We own at BLT also and are going for 2 weeks in Sept/Oct. We are also planing to stay a week after the cruise at BLT. 11 months should be this Sat. so we'll be calling.
We would be up for whatever the group decides. Lanyards, shirts, both or whatever. We enjoy that kind of stuff. Another week or 2 and we can start looking at airfares.

How are the quality of Tshirts at Cafepress? On the 2011 Panama Canal Cruise our Disgroup tried to have some shirts made on cafepress that had Disney items and CafePress would not print them - copyright issues. I do not know more specifics than that. We ended up at Vistaprint whose Tshirts are just ok but relatively cheap with the coupon cabin discount.

I know this might sound silly, but what is a postcard/recipe exchange. As simple as it states or is there more involved?

It was as simple as it sounds. You either exchanged a recipe or a postcard from your area or Disney related of course. A lot of people put the recipe on the local postcard.

I will find out where the lanyards came from on our last cruise. I have no idea how to post pictures on here.. I can post on the fb side.

I am off to Chicago today for my cousins wedding today. Hopefully this wedding will be better than my last cousins.... married May 21.. divorced all ready and the wedding was a disaster once we entered the reception.. have never seen anything like it!! the mil of the bride would make the villians at Disney look like Mother Theresa!

I just visited the Disney store yesterday too - my DD's 7th b'day is today and she is a HUGE Tinkerbelle fan. Lots of Tink goodies were on sale!

Here is a proof for Lanyards. I did notice the one thing I did not put on there were the dates for the cruise so that would need to be changed, but these are $1.90 each if we order 100 of them.
