Looks like BA is going to try to get us where we are going. I have some leeway since I was planning on arriving on Monday and we sail on Wednesday so it could be okay. I am at least feeling better about the whole thing.

Any luck? My AAA will exchange for free with cash...but I thought I heard them say for $100, I'd get 51 euros...that can't be right? Any other suggestions...big banks?

Hi Liz,
I recommend using ATM's in Barcelona. They will have them at the airport.
That is what we always do to get foreign currency because you get the best exchange rate that way. Check with your bank to know your limit first and convert that limit into Euros so you don't try to take too much out. My friend had that problem here in Greece.

Okay, I went on the British airways site and checked my flight and they are selling tickets on this flight again! So I take that as a good sign! If they are selling tickets then maybe at least that leg is saved from being cut. I hope so. I am grasping at straws here. LOL.

Hello all... I am so behind...I just found this group today...I have never posted on a thread before. We booked this cruise just a few weeks ago when we got a last minute deal! I am freaking out just a bit because I normally plan things a year in advance. I know it is a bit late to get to know everyone as i realize you guys have been chatting for some time...but I would love any advice...and I saw another Heidi...so hello from one Heidi(and HUGE Disney fan) to another

By the way...we are pretty much on our own for excursions...I did buy Vatican tix today...and I am figuring out the train system...whew! Any advice is welcome! I am praying for everyone's travels considering the volcano situation.

great idea! is the limit on your account or just on the # of euros you take out? AAA was a silly 61 euros for $100!
