Hey Everyone,
I have been looking over my excursion list and have been looking to trim off some of my high priced excursions. I have been to Pompeii before- so I am looking to do something different.
Over the weekend, I have done quite a bit of research on the Naples Bay area. I have found that there are some wonderful walks on the Amalfi coast or the Island of Capri and I am looking for someone to go walking with. As I am travelling without my spouse, my husband does not want me doing these walks alone- even though the region is relatively safe. The terminal to the hydrofoil is about 15 minutes away from where the ship comes in and it is very easy to catch a ride to either Capri, Ischea, Sorrento, or Positano. There is even a walk known as, The walk of the Gods. This walk takes you around the region- including the Emerald Ghrotto.
I am looking for someone or a few people who might want to join me? I have found a guide that will do tours of the region- and he even knows where the wild orchids grow in the area. Or we can do it without the guide- as the trail is well marked. Most of the trials are fairly flat and some have a few stairs. If the weather was bad- I thought about going to Sorrento and doing some window shopping or going to Ischea- and maybe getting a massage at one of the spas.
Any takers???
