I would do it...Want me to wear scrubs and push her??
If you ask really, really nicely I'll even wear white and my hat from graduation. I never, never wear white....reminds me of school.

You bet!!!!! Do they really still have to wear those hats?
Some schools wear them for graduation....
In practice, I saw some old timers and nuns wear them in Massachusetts.
Come to think of it, I've never seen anyone in Illinois wear one.I tried to get the nurses on my unit wear them for Halloween one year....I thought it could be fun with the patients who get confused with the date. We could tell them it was 1906 instead of 2006-

We didn't do it becuase we thought it would be in poor taste- but it would have been really, really funny.
Maybe it's just ICU humor, but I thought it was funny. We are all a little
in the head.
I've been to several Italian cities and if you are one that needs to know where the restroom is, let me know, I can share restroom strategies.
This from someone that is not young, has 4 kids (3 of them teenage boys, and could lose a little weight
) Oh, did I mention I drink tons of Diet Coke?
I guess it all adds a little relevance...or TMI..

For those that are particular, toilet paper in some parts of Europe is not at all like the soft stuff we're used to.

Yes, please... I will be travelling with my older mother in law, plus after 2 kids, well you know.....![]()
I recommed those little purse/fannypack rolls of Charmin as a just in case. It is VERY true... I think that they use the sandpaper stuff to detur people from using public restrooms. That or plumbing systems just aren't as strong as the USA.
40 years ago my mother collected samples of TP from all the places she visited while backpacking in Europe for 2 months! Kinda neat little keepsake idea for those twisted teens and kids. Make it memorable. She wrote on the squares details of where they were from. It is truly amazing to see the difference in brands and types... you have to see it to beleive it!![]()
I really got a kick out of it! So we did the same thing the first time I traveled in Europe. I have a little box of TP!
Misseulalie,
Public restrooms in the city are....well....think hole in the ground.
When we were in Italy, we several times saw people urinating in the street (especially in Venice). Several others did a little more![]()
We can always make it a group activity......Hubby is bringing his scrubs also...they are excellent PJ's!
Pushing grandma or ....... Never mind....JK![]()

I am supposed to be receiving a letter authorizing me to operate a radio station on the cruise. Just wondered if there were any other hams going.
AI4RN
I am not a ham - my parents are! Will you be operating voice, morse, or some type of interface? I might be interested in reaching out to my dad - but I don't have a PTT license either (just for work - won't move with me of course)
Thanks for all the Bathroom stories!
Just look for McDonalds!!!!
Small fries, and the bathroom!
or some chain like that!
Do you need a license From in europe For this?![]()
