Hi Everyone

I was just mentioning of the May repo thread that we should come up with a great name (theme) for the cruise. For example, our theme for the May 2005 repo was "Kingdom to Kingdom". The first thing that came to me for this cruise is "Magic in the Med".

Anyone have any great ideas?

but I do remember you trying to transport wine once before ....... did you save the carrying case? Don't forget to bring it to Italy with you.

What happened/where is Barb (Barb & Tony)? I don't see her name listed on the moderator list either. I was just wondering if she booked one of the the repo cruises or one of the med. cruises.

Still alive and kicking, and booked on the repo home (I want to get the flight out of the way before the cruise and then have time to slowly adjust to the time change...I am a wimp girl!).

DCL called and they had a suite available! So - I'm now booked in a Cat 3! Not nearly as nice as the Roy suite - but at least I'll be on the same floor now! I've been dancing all night. Went and ran a 5K right after that and did great. Finished in 31:52 for my very first time. That's faster than I ever did on the treadmill (35 minutes for 3 miles on the treadmill). Guess all that excitement from booking the suite went right into adrenaline.

Glad to see you - have not seen you on boards for a while - I remember you were orginially booked on the same July West Coast cruise last year - and then had to cancel - I knew you would be on one of these sailings.

We also can't wait when air prices are out to compare with DCL's price. We will hear about them here first for sure. One day we will be on the same cruise

We are anxiously awaiting the air prices too. I might even spring for business class since it is only one way. My main priority is a shorter flight, even if it costs a little more. I'm sad that we can't fly direct, but it looks like we can probably get by with just one stop.

Sue, THANK YOU for handling the list... I would not worry about omitting the cabin #'s that were posted publicly, just the ones that are sent to you in PM's... We will print a list of all the people and locations to be handed out at our first mixer... I was so excited to hear you got a Cat. 3!! That is awesome! You'll be at the Concierge mixer now, how cool! Are you ok though, after your accident, do you need a good attorney? LOL...

Themes - I like some of the ideas so far... here are a couple more suggestions: "First MAGICal Med Cruise" or "Magic Pizza Pioneers" LEts get a few more ideas and then put it up to a vote, the winning one will be added to the thread name, and if we come up with T-shirts we can "LOGO IT" lol... (for examples of this, check out the thread for the first "double scoop cruise."

Is anyone else planning of going anywhere else in the area after or before the cruise? I was going to hit Toledo or Malaga (two of my favorite cities in Spain) and then hop up to DL Paris ... Anyone else up for that?

This is a fun group.... I am really looking forward to this!

PS- sorry I have not been on in a bit, but, there were issues, long story short, the building I am in was on fire yesterday...

Well, if you need a firefighter - I'll trade one for the attorney advice! My Dad's a fire inspector in Colorado. Seriously though - I was going about 5 mph. Tried to get around a car and kind of scraped a little bit against a part of their very broken bumper that was hanging out. All I have is a bit of paint transfer that'll disappear as soon as I wash the car. The other car was already so banged up I couldn't even tell where I hit the thing! I had to walk back to my car to make sure the whole thing wasn't a figment of my imagination.

I'm happy to do the list. Gives me the chance to "meet" all the great people on the cruise and stay involved - and excited all the way from now to the cruise!

I have no problem with my cabin # being published....I'd like everyone to know so they can stop by and visit! Speaking of which, we've just changed ours to a Cat 7 (#7626) which is a Navigator's veranda. This gives us another $600 to put aside for excursions so it's all good. We've also selected Late dining.
I look forward to meeting everyone in this wild and crazy group!

I think our name should highlight the fact that we will be the inaugural cruise....how 'bout "1st Magical Med" or something similar?

Not to worry Jeanne - everyone on this thread will receive a printout at our first meet with all the cabin numbers listed! Some people are concerned about posting information of that nature on the web. It's easier for me to block all the cabin numbers rather than remember who said it was okay to post on the web and who said it wasn't. I think it has to do with losing-the-mind because I had a child syndrome.
