All of Florida is like that! Although it isn't as bad here right now as up there. I was looking at the moon this morning thinking how red it looked - until I realized it was the SUN I was staring at!

Thankfully it only seems to be bad here at night and in the morning. I can actually see blue sky with white puffies at the moment. This morning everything was varying shades of grey. I thought for a minute I was up North until I stepped outside and felt the warmth.

Completely argee with the sun thing. Our son is MAD because i tell him it is the sun and he INSISTS it is the Moon. Tried telling him the moon is white and that the red circle is the sun. He said "no sun hurt" (because he always looks into it and hurts his eyes!) I finally gave up.

You can not even see 100 yards here. At my sons swimming lesson this morning there was actually ASH falling into the pool...our cars are COVERED in it! We must be in a BAD weatherband...the news said it will be like ths thru sunday or monday!!!!!

Some sub-tropical storm! Mixed with a LOT of fire... UGH!

I was at Target today and you could see the smoke IN the building!!! Mail carrier and UPS people were wearing masks today. While shopping we saw TONS of people with masks on. Thank goodness i dont have asthma. Just BAD smoke allergies... eye drops every hour and trying to stay in the rest of the day. Changed the air filter and cranked it to on instead of auto! Seems to help, or i am getting used to it.

Funny part is that i mowed the lawn at 7 this morning and it was beautiful out!

Worst part of my day so far is that ALL of DHs clothes are hanging up ironed and ready to pack and we left a window open before we left the house this morning... now everything STINKS! I DO NOT want to rewash everything! UGH!

Just returned from South Florida(Coral Springs) and most of way has smoke. Turnpike had heavy smoke warnings out and Polk County certainly has had smoke.

He was at the drink station. Mark Curry entertained on our cruise and he was just walking around. Wasn't really a problem. A lot of people got their picture with Joey.

Oh, and I want to add, I talked to someone else and can 90% confirm that Joey will be on our cruise

I can't believe I am this excited about him being on our cruise 0 I am old enought to be his mother!!!!!!

I am excited about the ports, the ship, the food, the people, the entertainment, seeing the crew again, and all the little extras Disney does to make our trip memorable.

Now if the packing fairy would just show up I'd be over the moon with excitement. It is going to be a busy weekend.

Ok I am confused! I thought the repo leaves Saturday. Is Joey on the boat now? Is he on our cruise or the repo one? My kids are going to go nuts!!!!!

I was packing to go home on Sunday and I completely rolled my ankle. I heard the bones against each other- OMG, the pain was horrible. I'm now wearing a splint and ace wrap. I can only walk for about 30 minutes at a time- needless to say, I can't work. My foot, ankle, and calf are all nasty looking and very bruised. I'm sure I will still have some left over goodies to show on the cruise.


Gee, last cruise I got bit by a brown recluse spider and now I roll my ankle- maybe I'm not meant to cruise.

Ouch!! Sounds like you are in a lot of pain. You have 2 weeks, I'm sure the swelling will be gone by then and then you will regret thinking you were not meant to cruise

Isn't this board great, I'd have been completely clueless if I hadn't have stumbled upon it. I learn a bit more every day! Which is just as well as there wasn't much info. in the document pack. When did you book your cruise and how did you find out about it? It isn't advertised anywhere is it?

Hi thanks for the PM, I cant reply due to not enough posts yet - gonna have to post lots over the weekend.

I am sure there will be a few of us on travel brits on board due to the company promos as that is where i saw it aswell although a diff company. Saying that you will no doubt be able to spot the brits a mile off as we are not normally the shy retiring types and with our group you will probably be able to hear us coming

The kids are getting hyper now and even the two DH's were getting excited when talking about it after golf yesterday in the pub!!! Can't wait two weeks today and we will be checkin in
