We were hoping for HOT HOT HOT for boarding and Mickey pool. Oh well, we'll probably still trying swimming. High 60's can feel warm to us cold weather states. Not sure how long we'll be in though.

Mary - we have that saying also! DS12 also learned it in pre-school!

Tracey if you don't finish the and get it packed it's going to be the naked cruise for you!

I really can't remember what time we boarded in 2005, I'm thinking its around noon, but I really can't remember.

I'm here, I'm here!! A little tired (Can you say 12 hours sleep total for three days?) but excited. Vegas was sooooooo fun! Saw Jersey Boys and loved it-saw lots of other 'stuff' too but as Kim said "What happens in Vegas....."

At least you guys have half full or half empty suitcases....I still have EMPTY suitcases that aren't even pulled out of storage. BUT my last load of MY laundry is in the washer right now, and then I'll do the kids stuff. Laundry should be all done by tomorrow and I'm pretty much packing from that pile, except for the dinner attire.

You are ahead of me! My suitcases are full, but full of dirty, smoke-filled clothes (Don't you love that casino smell? ) Doing laundry as I type. These next few days I will be BUSY. Can't wait for that first drink on the ship with you all!

But, I'm not letting it get me down - still trying to be calm. Just got off the phone with DCL and worked out the last of the details for a special suprise (big splurge) for the kids.

Ooooh, sounds intriguing, can't wait to hear about it!
Thanks Ellen for posting all those pics/videos of the Magic in the PC. I was traveling that day and missed all the fun.

Ok, you should see my bed...it's clean! But, DD7 will now be sleeping in the garage, no I mean with her sister! I piled everything on her bed It's all starting to make since I can see the light..... NO naked cruise for this girl, but...it did sound a bit interesting

Not happy about the weather either, but my son is ready to jump on the pool once we board. I already have one suitcase packed and have one more to go.

Stupid car! They messed up the install of the new windshield! The one the dealership totally busted... yeah, really don't ask!!!! So now I'm crossing my fingers they can come out and fix the stupid thing today!

We leave tomorrow morning around 8:00am, and I'm still frantically packing and hoping to get the windshield fixed, other wise I will look like this when I arrive as it has this LOUD rattling sound, and that is just TOO much driving to have that the whole way.

James and everyone else - safe travels!

I might whine (I mean post later, if I get the chance) - as well as if I get the chance tomorrow night, I'll check in once we get to our destination.

HI ALL!!!
Well I saw the DOC today for my foot and the good news never ends.. The Doc put me on antibiotics as one of the wounds on my other foot has some cellulittis sitting in.. Oh Boy that means no or limited swilling .. I don't really think that will completely happen but I will have to limit the sun exposure for sure.. Hope the car is well and makes the trip to CA or you can just release Calypso for help.. Looks like we just made the flight prior to American Airlins doing all thier little fees,except for the 3rd check in bag fee.. We also have paid all the transportation through super shuttle form all points I will post tomorrow from GCH when we check in.. Drin hearty me mateys-Yo Ho James

Yipee! I am officially on vacation now! Just signed off work and now can finish packing, get dinner for the kids, and pack the car. I think the car saga is finally fixed, so we're ready to start tomorrow morning.

James, sorry to hear about the foot, I hope things get better soon, and I'm sure you'll have a great cruise! I'll kindly volunteer to pick up the slack and do some extra swilling for you! Or to put in your (our resident pirate ), language - I'll drink up me hearties yo ho!

I can't wait to see all you wonderful swillers and cruisers! I'm very excited that we are getting a send off crew also! How cool!

I meet a fellow diser' at my DD school recently and she asked me to bring my 'fishy' in to show her! It was SO cool to show it to someone and they really understood the whole thing!!

YEAH !!!! Fish bait is all finally done and in bags and ready to go.

Laundry Done and I'm pulling the clothes from the piles to pack....that's what I consider officially packing, even if it's not in the suitcases.

My cleaning girl comes tomorrow so the house will be in order and ready to leave. I'm feeling like it's all really happening!

James have a fantastic time at Disneyland!

Ok.....It took me until May to be a regular on this board and although I read every post I can't remember how the swanky suit swillers came about. I think I remember the swiller part.....with bringing, and meeting for wine, but who has the swanky suit? I'm assuming Ellen by the cabin number and amount of people in your cabin. Am I correct????

I am over the top with excitement waiting for the weekend!

Now that things feel like I might actually catch up around here, I'm feeling bad that I didn't make a door sign for me door. I checked out the one site for the gal that designs them and she's on vacation. Anyone know of an easy way to do one or where I can get/copy one? I can't design myself but I can cut and paste or edit.
