I've been trying to figure out how to post a picture of my family here and I'm having trouble. I may have figured it out so here it goes.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! There you all are!!! What a beautiful picture of you!!!!!!

SO nice to SEE you!!!

Now that things feel like I might actually catch up around here, I'm feeling bad that I didn't make a door sign for me door. I checked out the one site for the gal that designs them and she's on vacation. Anyone know of an easy way to do one or where I can get/copy one? I can't design myself but I can cut and paste or edit.

Tracey

Tracey, I had such a terrible time trying to figure all the door sign thing. I finally just went to Mirco Office and just clicked add picture and went from there. Mine are NO way like some posted, but they will work. You could use the one you just posted! With your children and add a quote. Just jump in and try one!

Go Tracey go...go Tracey go:cheer2:

For those who are travelling in the next few days.... have a safe trip to LA. :goodvibes

Looking forward to meeting all of you on Sunday!!!:)

I could make you one if you like and email it or give it to you on Sunday.
Just let me know what you would like on it.:)

Ok, now I think I am in total panic mode now that I am not done packing yet. Just came back from store with my dh to go and get another piece of luggage because we have to much stuff. When we were going home, we were stuck on the freeway for over a hour and a half(normal time home would be 15 minutes) because of a accident and a police standoff, just my luck. That was my last minute laundry time. I will be up all night so I can sleep in the morning when I pick up dd from school so the kids can visit grandma and I can maybe help dh drive if I get some rest. We are leaving Friday at 2am and should be at knotts berry farm in the morning and will be driving to the ship Sunday morning. What time was the actual meet? And it is at the mickeys pool? Sorry, I am really out of the loop right now that I am so tired to read the other post to find out. SAFE trip to everyone! Looking forward to meeting you all!

I believe it is at 2:00 p.m since we have the mandatory drill at 3:00p.m, yes it's at Mickey's pool. Hope you have a safe trip and have fun at Knott's Berry Farm. :)

I've been lurking for a bit but I've finally registered and this is my first post. I'm going to be on the May 25th Mexico cruise and boy am I excited. We live only 15 minutes from the port and we booked the first day reservations were available. It's been a loooong wait!

The best part is that in addition to my wife and three kids we were able to convince 15 of our family members to join us (ages 2-1/2 to 69). It should be an experience of a lifetime for all the grandparents, siblings and cousins.

I haven't been on a cruise since my wife and I were on the Big Red Boat on our honeymoon. This looks to be a heck of a lot more fun (though I'll miss the midnight buffet). I think I'm more excited about the trip than my girls are. I even spent last weekend making magnetized decorations with them for our stateroom door.

I'm an attorney so I am very rarely able to take more than a couple of days off. This will be my longest vacation since graduating from law school and miraculously things have panned out so it looks like I'll be able to avoid doing any work on the cruise. Walt must be looking out for me from up above.

Fun and relaxation! What a concept!

Hi and :welcome: to the boards and the group! How cool that so many family members are traveling with you! We are traveling with my husband's parents and my best friend and her two daughters. We also booked the first day and were also married in 1992 (July). We live up here in Northern Santa Barbara county.
I know what you mean about being more excited than the kids. :yay: :yay:
See you on the ship! :wave2:

WELCOME!!! I'm glad you found us before you left. I just wanted to tell you that I got chills reading your post about how many family members will be joining you. That sounds like a once in a lifetime event. How wonderful. My husband and I have been on the Big Red Boat a couple of times and of course we weren't very impressed with that. I'm really looking forward to this trip and I think I'm the most excited in the family.....then the kids....Dh would stay home if I would let him!

I was just reading through the docs that came and it says that no personal coolers are allowed onboard except for medical or baby formula. I thought we could bring Beer/Water or whatever as long as it was in a carryon cooler kind of thing. Anyone know what's correct? I was hoping to save some $$$ on my Dh beer tab!

Thanks for stopping by to say hello:cheer2:

Hope ALL the family has a wonderful trip:cool1:

Thanks for the warm welcomes Rebecca and Tracey (and 4campers). :)

My DD6 was sitting with me last night and got really excited when she saw the picture of Tracey's DD6. Hopefully they'll run into each other in the Oceaneer Club. My DD's very friendly and LOVES to play. I bet they'd get along great.

I need to hurry up and start posting a lot because DisBoards won't let me post any pictures or links until I reach 10 posts. I want to show you all the 3 lovely young ladies who will be joining my wife and I on our cruise!

My daughter's 7th birthday is on our Puerto Vallarta day! I'm sure she'll love playing with all the 6 year old girls that will be around.

We're leaving Saturday morning to head out to CA and it just hit me last night just how much I have left to do! I've done some gathering of stuff, but no actual packing yet. Today is going to be busy!

I'm SO EXCITED to hear you have a 6 year old too! My DD is also very friendly and a social butterfly, can't wait to make new friends but she still has some separation issues. I am hoping she finds some girls her age she likes to play with. She is so excited right now to go into the club, BUT I know when we arrive at the door that will all change. That's why I'm so excited for the Dis Meet at the Mickey Pool at 2:00, if she sees some of these girls there then she may feel better about going into the club. My DS is in the older club so they are separated from each other. Although I do think my DS will spend some time in the younger club with her too. DH and I can use some alone time so I'm really hoping my kids LOVE the clubs.

I'll be sure to show her a picture when you post it. When I had to get to 10 posts really fast, I went on the main board and just kept responding to posts, "thanks for the info" " great tip" Got to 10 in a matter of minutes!

Adhering to Tracey's sage advice, I've been posting like crazy. An attorney's never at a loss for words, right? I've now hit the magic number, so without further ado, here are my three sweet (and silly) darlings:
