Thanks! Just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, subtracting for "own" stateroom, the numbers work out to:
- Mickey group gives to up to 40 staterooms and receives from 12 staterooms.
- Tinker Bell group gives to 16 staterooms and receives from up to 29 staterooms.
- Minnie group gives to 10 staterooms and receives from up to 23 staterooms.
Do I have this right

or am I confused again.
Not necessarily and that is definitely not the expectation. There were people months ago who said they would give to everyone even if they did not get the same amount of gifts back so I agreed back in September that I would give the option for people who chose to give to up to 100 people or "the whole ship" that they could choose to do so. You certainly to not have to give to all three groups. You can exchange with only your group if you want to or outside of your group. But no one is expected to give to beyond what they can handle. The extra information was just there if you wanted the option. I don't expect everyone in Group Mickey to want the option, but at least there is enough within that group to exchange with.
This is a general message for all FE Participants: (it's not geared at you MousseauMob, it just happens to be on your same post because I see me getting flamed very soon if I don't explain this.)
Sorry everyone. I didn't mean to be confusing. I don't want to upset anyone. And I had hoped to keep this off the boards. I split the groups based on what was asked for and made it as flexible as possible. I did not divide by amount of cabins because some like to give to each person in each stateroom so the easiest way to get around that is to do it by people count and let each participant decide if they want to go beyond their group or not to. Some people had to drop out because they realized they can't handle the extra weight in their luggage. Each of you know what you can handle and I never wanted to decide for anyone what they could handle so I accommodated the best I could. There just were not enough people who voted to give to "up to 100 people" or "the whole ship" to make a huge group, but there were enough to combine the two categories and at least make a decent sized group.
As I explained to someone else tonight, I created the smaller groups first because I knew they did not want to go over a specific number. It just so happened that the amount of votes that came in for each of those categories (minus those who jumped ship) worked out almost perfectly because each of the 2 smaller groups went 2 - 4 people over their max.
Stateroom-wise the groups are split within a close range, but anyone who wanted to give beyond their group was always welcome to do so.
I took the following down tonight since the lists are out and it seemed outdated, but I will put it here again. This is what was on the FE post pertaining to group splits since September when there was confusion on how the groups would be split:
Group split?
As of now the answer is still Yes. I will not post who is in which group until the final list, but here is the general idea: Clarified A/O 09/10/13
* You can choose groups of 20-30
people, 30-40
people, and 40-50
people. Rather than make a decision that might make this fun exchange activity become a frustrating nightmare, I will do my best to accommodate all 3 requests. No worries: I will not split up a stateroom or a party of more than one stateroom into separate groups. Remember, you won't know who is in your group until the final list comes out.
* If you are just joining us, the option to vote for group size be found on the sign up form.
* If you signed up already but do not remember what you voted for feel free to email me and I will help refresh your memory.
* Anyone who requested "Up to 100 people" or "Doesn't matter to me. I'll give to the whole ship if they sign up!" will still have the option to deliver to all participants.
