The FE Post on page one has been updated. Click here for a shortcut.
I know it's lengthy, but please note the **s. That's where all the new info is as well as answers to the questions that have come up on this thread.
As for the "Tea Party": how I did it last time was scheduled it for right after the group photo. The ladies came to my stateroom and the men (who actually planned their gathering first) went wherever they went. We only spent about an hour in my cabin, but it was great. I think we had 12-15 women out of the many who RSVPd. The stateroom attendants on our deck and Room Service CMs got a kick out of it because on that cruise I only had a standard inside stateroom, but somehow we all fit comfortably. Someone in our DIS group compared it to a Marx Brothers movie.
Thank you! I am definitely praying for normal.
What a great surprise that is going to be. Do you plan to have video? I hope you don't have any accidental run ins at the hotel before embarkation day.
I'm so afraid to say things have settled down because every time I try to say that I end up MIA from the boards for a month or 2.
BTW I used your 20 cabins as an example on the first page.
The DVC reception is usually on the 1st sea day around 8a or 9a. But I've only been on 3 DCL cruises so far so I'm not setting that in stone.
My daughter will talk Supernatural with anyone! But I must warn that she majorly fangirls on Dr Who, Sherlock and Big Bang Theory more than anything else so I hope her intensity doesn't scare your daughter away. I've only seen a few episodes of Supernatural so I'm not fluent, but I do speak the "language" of the other 3 shows plus OUAT an OUATIW.
I still haven't seen Stargate, Hamish Macbeth or the Full Monty but I do like Robert Carlyle. Since Trainspotting
2nd sea day makes sense to me for group photo.
Thank you for the lots of good wishes.
I'm glad the pier issue has been cleared up. Although I was planning to take a cab to and from the ship so it didn't make a difference to me other than knowing exactly where to check in so we don't miss the ship. But the hypothetical email to ask "Where are you gonna park the ship" gave me a great laugh!

Welcome back, Moondaughter. It sounds like you have had your hands full lately. I hope it is all behind you and things can get back to normal for you.

Welcome back Moondaughter, sorry things have been so rough for your family here recently. Pray everyone stays healthyKat will find out about part 2 on embarkation day at the pier, whichever one it is

So sorry you've had quite a turbulent end and start to the year! I hope things will settle down for you now.
Where was the post about the FE groups? I can't remember exactly what I would have said but I was thinking 20 cabins the other day if that helps.
I'd love a picture! I'm a picture freakTea would be fun too, again all depending on the events of the day. I'm sure my kiddo wouldn't mind having to go to the kids' club (that's is a constant request since he never made it on our 3 nighter!). Not sure I will be able to get both of us up to watch the ship come in, then again who knows as we are on the east coast so we may be up at 3 am Vancouver time
The 3 pm one should be fine (anyone know when they usually do the DVC thing?)

Welcome "Home" Moondaughter!
I am sorry to hear of your losses and know how hard it can be to get back on top of things. I am glad to hear your doing better.
I also cant believe you were able to go through all of those messages. It would make my head spin.
No rush about the FE, just curious for planning.
Sounds like my DD will have people to talk to about Supernatural.
And I LOVE Gold!! Discovered Robert when Once came on and have watched all of Stargate (not into scifi!) and love Hamish McBeth. Want to go to Scotland.
But Vancouver will be just fine!![]()

I'm all for a group photo. I would suggest the second sea day before we get to Sitka.

Moondaughter! Sending lots of good wishes that things stabilize.
Got an email from TA today and she also confirmed with DCL that we are sailing out of Canada place. I would imagine with a change of this magnitude DCL would be obligated to contact customers so people are not showing up at the wrong port. So I'm still feeling pretty sure the port website has a clerical error. Of course for those of us at the Pan, when we don't see her sail in, we'll know.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the lots of good wishes.
