I have a question about boarding for those of you who have done this before. What is the best time frame to board with the least amount of crowds and the shortest wait? My DD13 has Downs' syndrome and is not the most patient of people in ordinary circumstances. I'd like to time things properly so that we aren't in a huge crush of people. Any suggestions?
She is physically the same age as your DD Barb but they are really YEARS apart-maybe that's why I think that DD10 is old beyond her years?????
Have any of you stayed at the Radisson at the port?
I've wish I could speak from experience regarding the time to get onboard but I think you've gotten some good advice here about not arriving early! We're planning to only because we'll be leaving WDW that morning and won't have much else to do. The anticipation that day will be driving us nuts

I bet my daughter would love to meet your girls

We're actually driving down from Lexington, KY - leaving on the 19th of this month. Two weeks from Saturday!! Check into the Poly Sunday (as early as I can possibly drag my family out of bed 'cause in my opinion my vacation starts at 12:01 a.m.). I've forgotten but I think our stateroom onboard is a Category 9? All I know is that I insisted on a veranda because I've never had one on a cruise before. I may regret that decision because, from what I hear, we'll never have time to use it.
Did I say two weeks from Saturday????
