Glad you're doing the dinners now.

Can't believe it is 3 weeks tomorrow.

And i fly to my conference in Atlanta 2 weeks tomorrow. So far i have scheduled 1 meeting and 8 cocktail parties while at the conference, I'm actually supposed to have about 10 meetings and only 3 parties.

Oops, parties are winning out over boring old meetings every time (and i don't even drink).

Where in ATL will you be?

Those Olympus pictures look great. The color and clarity is awesome. I want to say that my model is the 1010? Not sure what that even means.



I called Jared in sick this morning and the attendance lady asked me if he had "flu-like symptoms".....he has a sore throat and a fever. No need to see the doctor just yet. But I'd sure hate for it to be MY kid who gets our school closed for a week!

I would take him to the Doc - better early than later especially with you flying and cruising in 3 weeks and him having a summer trip. JMHO

Liquids including water and alcohol cannot be checked. They must be carried on.

When we did our 30 day we checked a case of water for each cabin - slapped a luggage tag on and never had a problem but then we never left from FL.

Actually thinking about it... when we leave from PC or FLL we usually stop and pick up a 12 pack of bottled water and put them in the cases we check and never had a problem with that. Never been asked if we have liquid of any kind either.

That wasn't a disney cruise but we have been on 4 disney and sure we have taken bottled water as we normally pick some up before we board.
I have never been questioned about having liquid in our cases.

Staying at Westin Peachtree Plaza. I'm going to the BIO conference at the convention center. Although mostly will be rushing from meeting to meeting in the business area.

I'm with Tracy.....from what we've always been told, ANY liquid on Disney has to be carried on. If you packed it in luggage and checked it through with the porters, then you were lucky you got it delivered to the stateroom...because generally their rule is "No".

I've carried on wine and Pepsi before because I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Daughter Megan is having some complications late in her pregnancy....I may just disappear from here if I'm called to fly to Omaha to be with her. But I will have Sharon keep everyone posted if that happens, and will try to post from there.
IF that does happen, I'll go up there for as long as I can, then fly back here, meet up with Sharon and Kaylah and still go on the cruise. I'll fly back to Omaha as soon as we're off the cruise.
