I am sure glad Stacey did all the reservations, because when it comes to Disney, I'm clueless!

It is beautiful here this week. Is getting up to 80 everyday. Now don't you all wish you lived in Phoenix this week?

Sorry it looks as if the coffeeguy48 can't make it. the funds just can't see spending money like this now maybe next year. :wave2:
:crowded:

Glad you're enjoying your 80 degree weather. I was freezing my tail off while Ashley was having soccer practice. It was 49 degrees ... had a jacket & coat on & was still freezing. I'll take 80 degrees any day!!!

It has been colder here this year (bone chilling cold or I'm getting old) - so much for global warming:lmao:

I doubt you'll be able to book the 4 & keep the 2. I'll try to get on at the 75 day mark too.

Angie...try booking again a couple of days before the 75 day mark. That's when they've been known to open up more reservations.

I did wish I was in Phoenix all week!! I think the highest temp was 30° while I was in Nebraska. Lower than that last night when I flew out. Pretty awesome to leave that freezing cold and get off the plane and have it still be 71° at 10:00 pm!!!

I'm back...trying to get all caught up.

I actually had to turn on the ac today while driving, it felt soooooooooo good.

You would probably be out in a light jacket in our 49 degree weather. I'm a whimp!

We're from Colorado, but my hubby is Air Force and we just spent the last three years in California and it made me a cold wimp too!! I am not adjusting to the freezing temperatures of New England very well!:)

Thanks Stacey. I've been checking back every day hoping something would pop up. I think it's odd that there are still a lot of dates/times open for Palo dinner. Wonder if the economy is making people think twice about putting out more $ on something like that.

We will be on this cruise...new to cruising and excited and nervous...don't know what to expect! We will be traveling with 2 boys ages 12 & 15. Anyone else have boys close in age that will be on this cruise?

My boys Tyler and Toby will be 15 and 13 in May, so they will be in the same
clubs They are both heavily involed in Scouts with Tyler working on his Eagle and Toby on his Life. Toby is also into wrestling, baseball and soccer. Tyler is into ROTC.
What excursions are yall looking at?

The Man

I haven't looked at any excursions yet...just booked the cruise this past wekeend, so it is all new and overwhelming! My Tyler is 15, but not into any of the things you have mentioned...he loves video games, likes to read. Ryan is 12...almost 13, and loves to be creative (can draw just about anything and build anything with Lego's), likes video games, running, but not too much into sports...likes to shoot hoops a bit. I wasn't sure how many older kids will be on this cruise, with most still being in school. So I am glad to have found some! Any excursion suggestions??

Welcome, to the boards, both my boys of course have advanced degrees in all video game platforms :rotfl2: Tyler is an xbox 360 addict and military games is his forte. Toby is into DS and PS2 fantasy games and of course Guitar Hero and Rock band. He's a drummer in school. Both have bad habits in reading all night long instead of sleeping :lmao: The only DCL excursion we are doing is the Teen thing on Castaway Cay. The other two stops we are doing on our own to save cash. Tortola will be probably be Speedy's to the Bath and the other will be a private tour around the island and snorkling St.John's ? Sorry I am just along for the ride and my beloved is the planner of all things, I simply say "that sounds great dear":worship: We do love to snorkle, so that is our main objective at all stops.

Disney has finally sent us our fly arrangements, lots of layovers but they are durnig meal times. After the cruise instead of going back to Orlando we fly out on a puddle-jumper at Melbourne airport, anyone have any experience at this small airport? It looks like we will have 3 hours to kill there before we fly out, don't know if we can safely go to Space center. Any Help? Of course there are the famous luggage fees so creative packing will be starting soon.
Lets see one suitcase for rum, wine and snorkle gear should do it:banana:

My Tyler loves military games also...XB360 too! I have read something about the baths...what is or who is "speedy"? I think I may like to go to the Baths also. If you or your "beloved" has any info to pass along for that, I would really appreciate it.

Speedy's is local ferry that goes to the baths, they are cheaper and you can spend alittle longer there, than the DCL excursions. spimply search Speedy's and Tortula and you will find the info. If you have time read the last 50 or so pages of this thread to see what is going on. so where are you guys located?
Tyler just left for school and is interested in meeting your Tyler.
