Just today I notice a few changes...but nothing like it was last year here! Yes, that's a lot different than Fl as well! I LOVED it last year being able to see the leave change!

I just keep saying "I think I can, I think I can" as I go up the hills! DH sings (outloud) "Put One foot in front of the other...before you know it you'll be walking out the Door" From a christmas movie (Rudolph I think). He had me cracking up today!

Not home yet. Asked for his laptop for yesterday. That's the latest I've heard.

At least he is asking for his laptop. Hopefully that means he is feeling a bit better!

Ouch, Heather.....your house problems sound awful. It did occur while I was on the PC cruise so that's why I was unaware. I'm glad the situation is finally getting under control. And great job with the walking!!!!!

Today's update:

Hey all, here is my daily update!
It was not a good day for Peter today. He is not feeling well. They think that the chest tube is not doing its job. They might want to do surgery in the next day or two to remove the rest of the stuff in his lung. He was very down in the dumps today, both emotionally and physically. We should know tomorrow what and when they are going to do anything, so I will let you all know. Thank you again for all your cards, he has been so enjoying his stack of cards every day. I think it was the only time I saw a smile today Ok.. goodnight.. Jenn

I hope they don't have to do surgery. But I do hope they get everything out of his lungs. I feel sorry for both Peter and Jenn. I did put a card in the mail on Tuesday.

I just can't even imagine how horrible a fall that must have been!! I'm glad he was at least up to calling.

hey all... I figured instead of Tracy copying my post, I would do a live post for you! Pete is healing, he just called me and he thinks he will be coming home tomorrow. I am sorry I haven't posted over on this thread, I just kept running out of time! They took his chest tube out today, did a chest xray around 6. As long as there is no fluid accumulation in his lung they will let him home. Thank you all so much for the cards. I think it was the only part of the day that made him smile when I brought him his cards. Hopefully he will be able to post soon, although it is going to be a very painful recovery for the next few weeks. We are so lucky to have you all as friends!! !!! Jenn

Peter came home yesterday!!!! Haven't heard how things are today, but at least he's home.

Did anyone book for 2010 today?

I booked the 7/11/10 Double Dip 5 day cruise today. I'm excited but now I have to figure out how we are getting to the port for this cruise from our house and what excursion we want for Tortola ....oh wait Disney hasn't given that info yet how silly of me

Orlando Rocks! We love it here and are settled in. Tonight its T-Rex Cafe for the Grand Opening. This weekend its the F&W festival for us!

We didn't book for 2010, we were really hoping to have DCL take us to Alaska. The Med and Northern Europe cruises were just too much $$ and I don't know that I could fly that far.
We *might*, and that's a big might, cruise another line to Alaska that summer....but then again, we just found out that we are going to be grandparents for the first time this summer....so maybe from now on, all vacations will be grandbaby-centered.
