May 23, 2009 (5/23/09) E. Caribbean w/Tortola

Lynn and I also first lived together in a trailer, and I ruled my life from a payphone.

Hey we will also have to have a Grass Skirt Frat Mtg at Sailaway. KEWL!!!!

Where it all ends I cant fathom my friends
If I knew I might toss out my anchor
So I cruise along always searchin for songs
Not a lawyer a thief or a banker

Blizzard just blew in, we are off to the Theater tonight, Cirque Dreams, Jungle Fantasy, should be fun. Dinner with friends before at that hot Chilean Resturant, Chillies....LOL

Got the GPS up to date for all our scheduled cruises and other travels,

Oooh, mexico
It sounds so sweet
With the sun sinkin low
The moons so bright
Likes to light up the night
Make everything alright.

I just gotta go.... OoooH Mexico

Is there anybody here to get the Buffett references?????? See I need Bob here. :goodvibes :lmao:

Got the North Bedroom taped and mudded, tile, cabinets, more mudd and grout and tape etc etc etc .... Lynn was doing such a good job I got her, her own dry wall tools, nice guy that I am.

Ya know I might have a retirement job in doing remodels for DIS folks, as a couple of people have asked, funny thing is when I picked up the cabinets we used our trailer and the guy asked if we were starting a business doing remodels LOL. I built houses to help pay for college.

I have my Adventures Club correspondant (SPY) checking on a few details for me to add to our basement.

Will be doing a home theater and am not sure on the sound system, was going to go bose but have changed my mind and will be doing componets. Apple TV might be on the list. Any thoughts out there.

HOPPY EASTER ALL, getting ready to enjoy Sunrise.

Happy Easter from Vegas! We are about to go give the one arm bandits a try :) Well, Kevin is, I'm the unluckiest person on the planet.

Scott come on over our way! We are in a constant state of remodel. I Get bored easily so we are always changing something!

Happy Easter and Viva Las Vegas! What a weird combination

CYndi, Just have Kevin send me the money rather, better to give ti to someone ya know rather than some casino.

Roomed sanded and 2nd coat of mudd on, might only need two coats. Then did a 6.81 mile run, Off to Atlanta this comming thursday, for the ING 1/2 Marathon, will get to see my sister and her family so that will be nice.

Well, out basement is unfinished. Not sure when we'll ever get the $$ to finish it. And we aren't really the "finish a basement type" of people..LOL We can put stuff together just fine...but we SUCK at painting and not even gonna try to finish the basement ourselves. :lmao:

Do you travel for your job? or for fun??

Oops, I guess I didn't properly introduce myself.
My husband and I drive a big red truck nationwide, mostly air freight, anything you would ship FedEx, UPS, etc we haul it. He drives nights, me days, our truck usually only stops moving for showers, potty breaks and exercise, well and grocery stops.
We drive anywhere between 4500 and 7000 miles a week. I haven't been home since January and I'm getting cranky! But frieght is SLOW and we have to make money to fund our sick Disney addiction. :)
So we travel for work and fun I guess. There would be no fun without the work. That's why when I post its always from a different place. Its a wacky job sometimes but we enjoy it.

Scott we sunk a whole 11 bucks. Could have just rode down the road and threw 1s out the window. Good luck to you and Lynn on 1/2! Kevin and I are still running, I am battling shin splints and a bum knee.

Easter dinner for us was cooked by yours truly in the truck. We had Red beans and rice, a heap of steam brocolli, and blackeyed peas.
As soon as we get to LA we have to brave the grocery store. I will try to resist the urge to buy 1/2 off Peeps and Cadbury Eggs LOL

In the past we have had alot of fun checking in with K&C and there adventures!!

Or at least I found it fun!
:thumbsup2

Peter

Also Kevin and Cyndi sometimes get stuck on I-80 and vist us for grilled Cheese and tomatoe soup, LOL

Scott I got fitted at a store after taking the shoe test on runnersworld. I may have to change shoes. Its just my left side, so I don't know if I'm favoring that side because my 'bad' knee is the right one (car accident injury from years ago)? I have been trying to make it a point to run evenly? Right now the ice pack is my best friend. Ooh, Tomato soup and grilled cheese.........drool........ We always appreciate your hospitality :)

Peter we just sat in LA traffic for 2 hours. Oh joy. Glad you enjoy following along. At 9am local we pick up a load going to Kansas City, MO. From there who knows. I'm hoping to get to Orlando sometime soon. I need a Dole Float!

Cool!:cool2: I don't know how you do it!! DH and I have made 3 driving trips from FL to AL with moving trucks and I'm so glad we are done!!! Two times I drove by myself in one of our trucks, and DH drove Moving truck. This last time we flew into FL, and rode together in the moving truck...much better...but driving/riding makes me sleepy!

It will be fun keeping up with your travels!!

PrettyinTink: Wow, a woman who drives a big rig....I am impressed! :worship: I didn't learn how to drive until I was in my 30's when I left NYC. Sometimes I can barely park my SUV! You rock, girl!
