Unfortunately, we had high winds here today and they had to close several roads plus the MARTA train station because of all the flying glass coming off the damaged Westin. During the rainstorm today, CNN found all the places their roof was damaged -- they now have more flood damage. headache: And 2 of the 3 buildings of the World Congress Center are in such bad shape, it will take months (and according to the insurance commissioner over $100million - can that possibly be right?) to repair.

Oh my goodness!!! What a mess. It is amazing to see what mother nature can do so quickly.

I hope everyone is having a good week!! Ds is enjoying his spring break, and i'm enjoying sleeping in. We've been to the movies, played bball, been to the science center, rented games/movies. And he has spent some time at his aunt/uncles house. Only 4 days left!! He did get excited about the cruise when I told him about Ocean Quest...he wants to go online and read more about the 7 day cruise!

We MAY be booking this one. My stepson graduates in 09, and we are patiently awaiting his grad date to be announced so we can see if we can sail the 23rd or if we have to go on the western for the following week. We should know something by May!

Now if we could just find out this kids graduation date.........I'm calling the school tomorrow. He is super excited, as are we.

Alex (Kevins son, graduating from HS in May 09, will be 18 upon sailing)
Patricia (DMIL, rooming with Alex)

Yeah! Hope you can make this cruise!!! I'm still not sure when DS last day of school will be next year. (he'll be finishing middle school...so not quite the same as trying to figure out a grad date). His last day this year is actually Thursday 5/23...So I'm figuring we should be OK!!

Heather, our last day of school this year is Friday, May 23. Next year the last day is Friday, May 22. I would think that unless your county does something drastic, you'll be ok.

May have to do some cruise talking tonight. Went to Ashley's Easter parade, hunt & party today. Vacation came up in a conversation with another parent (friend). She asked when we were going on the cruise and said that they would like to look in to doing a DCL cruise too. We're going out to dinner tonight. It would be great if they could join us. We get along great with the parents and all of our kids get along well too.

No Peter we aren't going on the 5 day I wish we would have waited because now we can go. We have or great TA looking out for an opening for the 5 day so if that pans out we still may go, but I'm not holding my breath.

L- tomato soup with ww toast

I am drinking enough water to float myself, and I am RUNNING. Yes me, known as Turtle, yep, that's me. Turtles runnin' folks. Nevermind my knee brace and ankle brace that holds me together

Hi Tracy! I just left Chicago. Had to get the heck out before the snow hit. I'm almost to St Louis and its 68 degrees and gorgeous. I'm on the way to Las Vegas!

Don't talk to me about snow The weather people here are saying it is likely that we will pass 100" this year (normal is around 40-45"). We started today at 92" and we've already gotten about 6 or more
