May 20th 2006 Western Magic Cruise - Who's Going?

$165 is a lot better than $350 to flyout of Los Angeles! Didn't really want to tack on $1000.00 but how else would we get there? With a 3 year old and an infant, I don't think a train or car would do it! Sure wish I lived in Florida to make it a lot easier!!

We got our doc's today!!! Anyone up for a doc dance??? Wish I had figured how to use the little icons so we could have some bouncing going on here!! Oh well, maybe my kids will show me how!

Okay....I'm off to the mailbox.....Ahhh, the mail is running late today!

Churchlady..I see that you live in GA so you probably got yours quickly. I live in CA so I have to wait a few more days

We'll dance for you! :yay:

 My TA called today and said she recieved the docs and was sending them to me today via 2nd day air. Hopefully they will be at my office on Monday.

:cheer2: Other good news, she said that we got moved to early seating. We have been waitlisted since we booked onboard the Wonder last July. :cheer2:

Greetings from GA. :sunny: This is our 1st cruise! Celebrating 10th Anniversary! :cheer2: Me, DH, and DD-8 years old. Were staying on deck 1, cat 10. We just got our cruise documents today. :yay: :cool1: :yay: Very excited!!!!!

Welcome NurseChell. I too have a DD8. Maybe they will click. princess: princess:

NurseChell and Anty, My DD 9 would love to meet a few friends! Seems like a lot of little boys in our group (not that there's anything wrong with that!). PM if your girls would like to pen pal before our meet.

What do you think of the new Navigators? I think they're great! Everything you need in one place! I do wish we had one for Cozumel, though.

What rooms on Deck 1, we have the 3 cat 9 rooms by the forward loby.....anywhere close by?
only 20 more days!!!! :hourglass

I will see if DD wants to send out a note to your girls. She is actually pretty good with email. We are on Deck 2, cabin 2108. Close to the aft elevators on the port side. Wow, 20 more days. I can't believe it is actually almost here.
I have put aside an envelope of cash that includes $300.00 standard tip money (may add more), and singles for room service tips. I got all of our passports together with all of our confirmation #'s for hotel, rental car, excursions, etc. I have 4 big plastic cups with tops and straws for the soda station, birthday table decorations for DD, waterproof disposable camaras, ziplock bags, over the door shoe hanger, and all the travel size toiletries. I am getting it all together a little at a time. :thumbsup2
Also, called to redeem Disney rewards. We have $220.00! :cool1:

There are new Coz navigators listed on the DCL main page. :)

This is our first cruise. My DH and I are traveling with our "kids" DS age 26 and DD age 30 with DS's girl friend age 24. Not sure what to expect--all of our vacations to WDW have been great--and reading all the messages is very reassuring. Waiting to receive the cruise docs--seems like a long long wait! Sorry for any mistakes--I am not a very savy poster on message boards!

See you onboard!

We also have a room on deck 1. My sister does aslo but she may try for an upgrade at check in. I am thinking that I will just stick with what we have. We have room 1037. It is near the elevators and I am a little worried about that with the noise and all!! Oh well, we shall see!! :goodvibes

Boy, it's great to have some new names joining our thread (and cruise). Welcome, everyone! Just in case you haven't read the whole 25 pages of our cruise meet thread, we are going to have a dis meet at the sailaway party on Deck 10 overlooking the Goofy Pool. DCDevil posted a detailed floorplan of the ship showing where our meet will be. It's post 300 something . . . I hope you can join us there too!

Gosh, anty, you are really getting organized. I am planning to make a comprehensive list of everything I need to pack for DH and me tonight as the three days prior to our leaving are going to be VERY busy and I'm afraid I'll forget something if I don't have it wrote down.

Babs, DH and I are dressing up for pirates night. DD and her college roommate are planning on it too but they haven't finished putting their costumes together yet so we'll see about them.

Anyone making signs for their stateroom door?

Still waiting for our docs here in Missouri!

Donna

donmil723 thankyou for your reply about dressing up for pirates night kimsue, her sister and kids are dressing up.cant wait cant wait cant wait pirate:

:wave2: Still waiting for docs here too in suburban Detroit!

Were in room 1065 deck one, cat 10

I'm kinda dissapointed... the cruise documents said leaving key west at 7:30pm, cayman island at 4pm and cozumel at 6pm. These times are all EARLIER than what was posted on the Disney site! What is going on?? All I have heard about was ..Dont miss the key west sunset... Does the sun even set that early?
