We are also planning to return to the World in May of 2014!!!! My daughter will celebrate her 10th Birthday and me my 40th...AAAHHHHH!!!!!! What better way than at Disney right? Cant wait for the fun to begin again.

Yikes..unless there turn out to be some extreme circumstances, I would say it's time to find a new TA!

I joined the fb page but was wondering if there was a way for me to post without anyone outside of the group seeing. This is a suprize trip for my kids and the first for my whole family. Only a few of my family and freinds know and im worried someone will see me posting and blow the whole suprize lol. Weve already had some close calls... We will be there for May 2014. It will be our 4th year visiting in May, and we LOVE that time of year! This year we were able to catch the F&G Festival at Epcot and the opening day of Star Wars Weekends at DHS. Perfect timing!

We're planning an early May trip for our Princess's 1st trip and 3rd b-day celebration. This will be our DSs's (12 and 9) 3rd trip. Planning to add water parks, mini golf, and Disney Qwest to make it new to them as well...and since this momma finally has a princess, we're looking at BBB and MDGPPTP for mommy and DD. Excited and can't wait.

DD got ready the other morning and I said, "Ready to go?" And she said, "Ready to go to Disney!"...she's still got a while to wait.

We are planning May 27-June 2. Trying to avoid the holiday crowd. This will be DS' 2nd trip and DD's 1st. We were just there in Feb for a "last trip as a family of 3" as I was 30 weeks pregnant with DD.

We went this past May and DH agreed that we can go back next May for another trip. It will only ba another weekend stay and we will pick one park to do that way we can spend time at the hotel too. We did the MK this past trip and really liked spending a whole day at the resort and pool.

We're thinking about the possibility of May 2014. It all really hinges on us being able to swing purchasing a new van to make the drive in. With three teenagers a little Mazda 6 just ain't gonna work!

DH would rather put money down on the van and go in 2015. I'd rather finance the van like we normally would and go 2014!

Flying is looking to be $400 per person (even out of Buffalo instead of Toronto) so that is just way too much extra for 5 of us.

But the seed was planted, so now I don't want to let it go!!!

Besides, it is our 20th anniversary!!!!

Question - I can't find anything by searching - but historically, what, if any, has a deal been for May? And when does that info get released??

Ugh airfare is so expensive! It's about $1k for my family of 3 to fly to MCO from Albany, NY. I guess driving would be cheaper, but then we would lose a full day of vacation on both ends just for driving.

As for discounts, in 2011 we booked under "kids stay & play free," meaning our dd's park tickets were free. 2012 we rented dvc points, so no discount for us (well it was discounted due to renting, but no disney package deal) and then this year was a percent off resort, which varied with what level resort you stayed.
