DD (9) and myself will be visiting Orlando in May 2008 :woohoo:

I'm planning to book the first 5 nights in a WDW hotel and the last 9 in time share accommodation.
As we'll be making the most of our Universal Annual passes the second half of the holiday where would be the best area to stay for accessability? :confused3

We're hiring a car so aren't reliant on public transport.

Thanks :flower3:

Are you talking about time share locations? I'm not sure I understand what you're asking..since you'll be staying in the time share for the second half of the trip.

Hi :)

No, just areas, in general.
I can't, for the life of me, remember how long it takes to get to Universal from anywhere other than IDrive :confused3

I've found accommodation on U.S. Highway 192
, Old Town, W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and Arabian Nights Blvd :goodvibes

Now I just want to make my life as easy as possible.......;)

There are some hotels across from Universal on Kirkman Road but why don't you stay onsite? You'll get FOTL access and you can use your PAP for discounted rates.

I might look into it but was, really, wanting to make use of our timeshare points so's to justify the maintenance fees ;)
My DH is ill and limited to where he can travel so I'm not certain that we'll be able to use them at any other time :confused3

The only time share that's around the Universal area that I know of is Westgate Lakes which is on Turkey Lake Road. I'm not sure if you could get into that one though.
