After asking DD (9 when we travel) what Disney hotel she'd like to stay in, for a few days, I think we've settled on Pop Century :thumbsup2

I've been able to get a quote, from Virgin, for £403 for 5 nights (19th - 24th May).
Would I be better waiting until the prices come out on the WDW site or does this price sound about right :confused3

To the best of my knowledge I'm not a member of anything that will allow me to use a discount code (no AA membership or annual pass) :sad2:

Regarding fridges - are they available to rent?
And, if so, how much?
Eve can only drink Lactose reduced milk so I, normally, dash to Publix and buy several pints to keep in the fridge :goodvibes

Thanks for your help

Was that the quote for hotel only Alison? I'm guessing it was at that price;) On disneyworld.co.uk the price for those nights is £284 for POP for those nights, so you might want to shop around

Yes Claire, it was hotel only :)
The £284, is that a quote for this year?
I thought that around the £50 a night mark was more like the prices I'd noticed before :goodvibes

Nope, thats the 2008 price:goodvibes You can only seem to get 2008 quotes on the uk disneyworld site at the moment

The 2007 rack rate for the season (regular season) you are going is: $99 plus 12.5% tax = $111.38 per night per room.

So 5 nights would be $556.90 (approx £290 depending on exchange rate and CC card used).

£284 seems a decent price with Disney.co.uk, Is that including tax and all fees?
Best I can find is British Airways £308 incl or they have moderate resorts at £457

Yeah....found it Claire, thanks :thumbsup2

When I did a generic search for Value hotels the site came up with no vacancies  Doing it, specifically for POP, I've come up with the price you said :goodvibes

Thank goodness for DIS and 'likeminded' friends

Now, what can I spend that extra cash on.........? ;)
