It is funny. We live in Schnecksville which is about 10-15 minutes north of the Allentown-Bethlehem area.

Just a shout-out to my fellow PA's...I grew up in Reading, PA and my family lives in Blandon/Fleetwood and Hellertown.

I'm from Wilkes Barre too! I go to school at Wilkes Univeristy

So this is my first official post! WoooHooo

I just wanted to say hi to all my fellow PA people. I am in Avoca, so when you take off from Wilkes-Barre look right down and I'll be there waving.

I'm looking into a trip for my mom, son (will be 3 5/7) and myself for the last week of April first week of May.

We'll be there May 1-9. Cast Members: DD, 19, and moi, 38. For our 2nd annual Mom/Daughter bonding trip!

Driving over & down from Louisiana. Staying at the POR for the 2nd year in a row. Didn't think we'd like it so much last year as we're from Louisiana & wouldn't fully appreciate the theming. Wrong! It was wonderful!

We got all our ADR's today and we found 2 DIS'ers so far to share our 5/18/08 Illuminations Cruise so now we will have 5 people total on the boat! :woot: My birthday will rock!

if any May DIS'ers who are going to be at WDW over 5/18 wants to join me in celebrating my birthday on the cruise let me know!

Hello to my fellow May goers....

We're heading down the 3rd-10th. I currently have room for 3 on a WISHES cruise on the Monday night the 5th. Anyone care to join us? There will be me, my wife and our son (age 7) along with our friends and their to kids (ages 7 and 4).

If anyone has the night open and has it in the their respective budget, please shoot me PM...

We will be there from May 10-17 after our 3-10th cruise. Staying offsite at the Marriott Residence Inn. Got it using points so no out of pocket.

I will be there with my dh and 2 kids. Look for my with my aloe green Overland Donner bag and my LGMH on it.

I was in Reading school district until 8th grade, then we moved to Mt. Penn High School (now Antietam!)

77 days to go for my family!!!!! We paid off our vacation today and are getting very anxious!!! We are going to the pop may 10-17th!!

It's such fun to read about all of you DISers who will be taking your much-anticipated WDW trips in May, and it's neat that we are all excited for each other!

We'll be at WDW May 14-20 for our 2nd family trip, staying at Saratoga Springs Resort on rented points. DH and I are surprising our DS8 with this trip, and DSs best friend will be coming with us. I've been planning like crazy, and when DS asks why I'm spending so much time looking at Disney stuff I just tell him that I'm helping one of my good friends plan their family trip (which I actually did last February.) I absolutely cannot wait to see the look on his face when he realizes that we're taking him out of school to go to WDW AND when he sees that his BF is coming. Every time I think about it I just get giddy with excitement.

Right now I'm in the middle of a 12-week substitute teaching job (8th graders!) and will be finished at the end of April. So that's my "countdown" clock! When I'm done subbing THEN it's time to start packing and get ready to go! Whoo hoo!

We are also goin in May. May25- June 3 This will be mine and my husband's third trip. My son's second trip and my daughter's first. I can't wait for her to meet all the princesses. We always go in May and have always enjoyed it. We are going a week later this year than we usually do, so I hope it is not too crowded.

We will arrive May 25 for a week at SSR on rented points. I've never rented points before--where have I been? We got a two bedroom for 1/3 of the retail price! I am taking my two sons, and each is bringing a friend. Our last day of school is May 21st, so hopefully we will beat the Summer crowds. We wanted to go down that day, but have a soccer tournament that weekend.

I feel so behind in making dinner reservations. Don't think we'll do the DDP. We have a full kitchen in our room for breakfast and my boys only like to snack during the day on their way to the next ride! I do splurge on dinner. I tell my sons that I'll go full steam and do anything they want during the day, but I want to see a waiter and wine list at night! They comply and even look forward to a nice dinner.

Better start making ADR's. My oldest son will be celebrating his 18th birthday while we're there and he has requested Biergarten that night and a character breakfast that morning (LOL) Only thing is another Mom may fly down with us, so I don't know whether to make ressies for 5 or 6.
