Just booked for Shades of Green May 4-9, this will be our first time at DW. We are taking my DH parents with us, we are so excited (well at least I am)!

Have a wonderful time! We will be there May 3-9. go get your Lime Green Mickey Heads (paint chips) at home depot, and stick them on your backpack, and maybe you will run into some dis members!!

We went last fall with my DH's parents. We all really had a good time, but we found out, that sometimes it is good to split up, since not everyone can keep up the same pace, and it is nice to have some time with just your DH, and they may need some alone time too. (at least that's what I discovered when we went).

I'm looking for a nice place to eat Breakfast/Brunch on Mothers Day. Any suggestions? I think that's what I like the most about being a single mom on Mothers Day. I get to pick where we eat. Muahaha!

Well, I usually go with my grandmother..and unfortunately she said we might not get to go this year, but I have been about 7 times before, so I was kinda ok with that.

However! I recently found out I get to go with a friend of mine!! I'm soooo excited! We're going May 4th..I'm not sure how long we're staying yet though.

So, knowing I'm getting to go, I cannot stop looking at the Disney website or this website! I can't believe I'm so obsessed...but I love it!

We are going there May 17-24. I do not have reservations yet, and could not figure out how to get points through here so guess I will book with the next best price at Windsor Palms Resort! I am new here and am just excited about going to WDW at all. This will be a first time trip and graduation gift to my 17 year old and we waited until my 10 year old would be big enough to ride all the same rides she could!!! So excited!!!!

Just booked a room at the Port Orleans French Quarter May 17th to May 25th and I am so buzzed. This is my third trip and I can't wait. Still so much planning to do. Should I spend all my time at the parks or do some resort hopping? Should I eat at Coral Reef or the Garden Grill? Will May never get here?

I read the reviews of the Mother's Day Brunch from 2007 at Epcot, it sounded great! The kids even get to decorate mom a cookie. It is pricey though, but we are on the DDxDP, it used two meals, but from what I have read I think it will be sooooo worth it!

Hi !! I read your Sept report the other day and have started your pre-trip for May. We were there Sept 22-30th and we'll be back May 3-9th!! I will look for you and your LGMH's!!! I had them on my red baggalini in September and I'll have them again May! Hope to see you!! (we are leaving on May 9, so we can't go the party that day, but so far, the May calendar shows MK closing at 7pm so we are hoping they add parties on the Tuesdays that are closing early - April 29/May 6/May 13).

Yup- we are on the list! See you there- DD got a cute Pirate girl costume yesterday (she is going to a school dance this Friday and thinks the costume is only for that- I am going to pack it for her to wear again to the P&PP).

well i guess i'll add my story here . . .

my wife and i were throwing ideas around the last few weeks for a mini-vacation of sorts in late may. maybe driving to the east coast in cape cod or down to gatlinburg, tn over memorial day weekend. we were honestly sitting on our couch last Thursday night not very excited about either of these possibilities . . . and then . . . almost like magic, those silly hoof sounds started coming from the TV . . . and we both looked at the TV, watched the disneyworld commercial, and then looked at each other realizing there's no point in going anywhere else!

so . . . we looked at packages on WDW's site right then and there, and the next day i booked us for 5 nights, 5-22 through 5-27 at Port Orleans Riverside - wife's never been at POR, but i have many times with my fam and i've gotta show her it.

already booked (and rebooked) ADRs for every night there, without any difficulty I may add . . . which i'm hopeful is a sign that it may not be very busy when we're there.

also . . . my wife will be 5 months pregnant at that time (just heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time about one hour ago in fact!), so we're excited to have one more (last) peaceful vacation before diapers come!

we're super pumped to say the least!

Loved your post!! I know you two will have a magical time! POR and POFQ are so beautiful (and romantic!). The boat between the two resorts and to downtown disney are so nice. Maybe you two could do the carriage ride at the resort, pretty reasonable I think around $35 - have a great time!

We will be there May13-24, 2008 staying at the Pop Century. Booked our trip for the seven of us on 2/12/08 magic your way with 10 day park hopper water park fun and more tickets. I called Disney reservations this morning and modified our reservations since they announced the free upgrade to park hopper water park fun and more and it saved us $708.00. We were very excited as we were trying to decide wether or not to do the Pirate and Princess party while we were there and this gives us the extra funds we needed.

We'll be there May 26 - 31 with DH, his sister and her DH, their 2 kids (and one on the way) and DBIL's folks. Staying at VWL and hoping to go to PPP the 26th. Good way to start the trip!
