Just read another thread that a Visa code was released, so hopefully that means more discounts are to follow!

is it worth getting the Disney Visa card for this code if we don't have an AP and are not FL res????

From what I read on the other thread, the current Visa offer gives you the water parks and more option included on your ticket. So, are you going to use these? If so, then figure out the cost you'd spend to go to the water parks or pleasure island or whatever "more" option you'd choose and see if it's really worth it...You might do better with an AAA discount...

When I called earlier about the Disney visa code the CM I spoke with said they expect AP rates anytime now. So keep your eyes open they should be coming soon. I hope!

Just got off the phone with a CM. From what she said the Disney Visa package would be released on Feb 21 to the general public. She also said that no "room only" discount would be offered this year because of the amount of bookings they already have for our time frame. I hope she is wrong because that is what I am hoping for.

I just got off too - CM said the same -code would be avail. to the public on Thursday. For some people this will be a good deal - for others maybe not so much - we have AAA so it's about break even as we lose our AAA room discount but for others it can be as much as $100 per person off their pkg. if they're paying rack rate already

Thanks for the update, even if it is bad news...just to clarify...were you asking about an AP room only discount or a Visa room only discount or other?

I was just asking about any room discount in general. She said no. I reminded her that there were discounts last year. She said no, none this year. I am not sure how much CM's know, but I hope she is wrong. She sounded sure of herself.

We tried to put the code on our package with the Disney Visa and they said that the Deluxe Dining code was sold out at POP and but the regular dining was still available.

I have come to terms with the whole code thing. If I get one great, if not oh well I am not going to let it put an Eeyore cloud on my parade! I figure you only graduate from a M.S. program once!

I just upgraded to the Deluxe Dining plan and bought my tickets for May 16th for the P&PP!! I am so excited! Getting into the Mickey groove!!! Not to long now!

I just got an email about the Disney Visa code. My friend ( who has a D visa to) is going to try to call about it (she needs the code, we have DVC.)

I'm hoping the public code comes out on Thursday as well! The last pin code they sent me through the mail didn't work on the days we are going to be there!

The email says get this rate before it goes public on February 21'st.

Now if any are available then is anyones guess (or even is now.) My friends really want to stay in AKL since we are in AKV.

2. I have a DV but have already paid in full. (Did not use DV.) Will I still be able to use the code?

You can get the details on mousesavers.com. I didn't get an email either from DV, don't know why...
I do believe you can call and add the code and IF it's available they could possibly refund you the difference. Of course I just got off the phone with a CM and our dates at the WL are already sold out! UNBELIEVEABLE!
