I just booked a trip for my DD4 and myself for May 3 -10. I'm a little nervous about it being just the two of us but can't imagine a better place for just the two of us to vacation.

So I figured everyone should know May schedules are up since we're all going then...and they make me sad.

Why is it that my temporary plan for the week was completely wrong?

The parks are closing so early on some nights!

But yeah...now you all can plan accordingly.

Does anyone know if Disney has been known to change schedules A LOT like last minute?

if you're talking about the 7:00 closings at MK.......i feel your pain! HOWEVER, not to give you false hope, but there's a rumor that those could be for pirate and princess parties!!! so that's a good thing! that is if you're interested in going to one. there was some speculation that it could be for grad nights, but those are scheduled for april 18, 19, 25 and 26, so i think that theory has been shot down. hopefully they'll announce next month whether or not these are pirate and princess parties!

i have a question for you code-watchers about how the AP rate works.

i'm an AP holder. i'm not going to be using the AP rate (if there's one offered) because i'm renting DVC points for our april/may 2008 trip. however, my friend may end up booking POFQ and then using my AP rate if they're released for our dates. (i can apply my AP rate for a friend as long as i'm there at check-in.) anyway, my question is if she books the room at the regular rate now, then they come out with AP rates later, can she call back and get the rate changed or does it have to be me? if it has to be me, should i be the one making the ressie in the first place?

Only the AP holder can get the discount.. make the ressie..check in..also with his/her name as staying in the room. BTW... POFQ was not one of the resorts offering AP discounts this past fall, it was POR though. Yes, YOU (the AP holder) can call back later to get the AP rate if available.

it was my understanding that i can share my AP discount with friends/family as long as i made the ressie and was there at check-in. so are you saying i have to be staying in the room, as well? i hope i'm reading that incorrectly! thanks for the info, by the way!
