May 2, 2014 - A WONDERous trip through the Locks WBPC

We were on the 12 night EBTA 5/14, we switched to this cruise. There was no difference in the overall price. With the $500.00/per/person airfare increase from Barcelona since last year, we decided to take our 20% discount to this cruise. If your family is interested on a cat 11b closer to the cruise I'm keeping the extra room til 106 days out. i'm checking with our cruise friends but if none of them are interested, the room will be available.

We have first seating. Anyone else? Do you all have table mates?

We have first again. I know we gain an hour, but we are just used to it. The boys' regular bedtime is still 6:30 even though they are 7! My parents are our table mates.

Hi All Just returned from my 2 houor water aerobics class ( Deep water class tomorrow) Sore after being in the bed for a week again (ripped the big toe open) ouch My DW and I have the second seating since we don't have kids anymore. Go to the early shows and the the late nights out. We are sitting alone also since we don't always go to dinner on the rotation. Any tips for a hotel after the cruise in San Diego? Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Folks! I've been lurking around, catching up on the 34 pages in this thread, finally decided to introduce myself now that I'm up to speed

Hubby Sam, two daughters Sophia (11) and Sydney (8) and I will be joining you merry bunch of pirates on the 2014 WBPC cruise!

This will be our 4th Disney cruise. After our 1st cruise on the Magic, we decided we needed more sea days, so our next cruise was the 2011 EBTA. It was such a fabulous cruise, I cried as we got off the ship in Barcelona! Our next cruise was back aboard the Magic NYC-Bahamas with plenty of sea days and no flights since we live in NJ. We were unable to take the 2013 WBPC that we'd booked onboard, so we pushed it out to 2014. So here we are!

We enjoy Fish Extenders, but I sense that no one has organized that yet. We enjoy the relaxed pace of the 2nd seating, and having the kids whisked away to the kid's clubs as Hubby and I enjoy wrapping up the meal in a civilized fashion! The kids enjoy the Oceaneer Lab and my eldest will try out the Edge for the first time this trip. Hubby and I live for relaxing poolside or on Deck 4, and try to sign up for a couple of Tastings or Mixology classes - my fave! We have a blast dressing for the occasion on Pirate Nite. Always hopeful that there will be a movie premier while we're onboard!

Welcome, Susan and family! We enjoy dressing up for Pirate Night, too. We've done it for all our cruises (except the EBTA -- took up too much space). This time, we've got room!

The FE is organized -- just transitioning organizers, I believe!

HI All. Hello to Mermaidmama and family Just wanted to say hello to everyone and to post the news that DCL will start in Sept on the Fantasy and then soon on the other 3 ships also, a way to see the Navigators on your smartphone. Of course you will have to purchase the internet package but it sure would save some paper on board. They still will be printing daily's but I think the phone app will make it much easier. here is a link to the story.
