pinkelephants-Thank you for sharing that info. Being new to cruising, I have only heard about "how to pick the best cabin". I know it will vary from person to person, and I would be ecstatic if our cabin had a hidden verandah! I'm sure it doesn't or it would be annotated somewhere, but it's still fun to hope!

Hey AdventureLover67; I too have heard mostly that low and mid ship are good spots...but who the heck knows. It could be that the people that are saying that aren't as sensitive as the next person, or they took some different medication. You are going to love your cabin, I am sure of it!!!

On another note.....I mailed all the rest of the bands today, so I would think by mid week next week everyone should have them, if you don't receive them... You could let me know, but I have no idea what I could do about it, so let's hope that everyone's arrive safe and sound!

I also purchased some more of the anti nausea/motion drugs while I was in the US. I could not find Bonine which is the non-drowsy formula of Dramamine, BUT I did find another product that is exactly as the same as the Bonine (I know because I have a pack of Bonine at home). The active ingredient is Meclizine 25 mg. or Meclizine Hydrochloride. I bought it at Target and it is under the brand Sunmark. Don't know if anyone is interested but there ya go!

Haven't heard from you two in a while. What did you finally decide about your excursions?

We are going to wander around aimlessly......

I canceled the Underwater Scooter. We decided to just play it by ear and relax.

We've been everywhere before (except Key West).

We are definately ready for our trip!!!

LOL....in the end it will cost me a little(not worried about it all all) not too much though for my fellow Magical MAYniacs!!! It isn't the cost that is the reason as by the time I go over it won't be that much of a difference, BUT the time is! If I mail them from Canada it could take up to 2 weeks to get to you as they have to go through customs, which is totally ridiculous! Plus, if it happens for some odd reason to take longer, then that could run too close to the cut off time for people leaving. Anyway, no biggie, I just need to find time during the day to go over because I have to go during post office hours. I would say it will probably be Thursday afternoon. I only live about 15 minutes from the border so it is really close.

I will certainly do my part to help you defray some of the costs. I will let you know when we receive our braclets via PM and pay you via PayPal (if that is what you prefer).

We are all appreciative of your time and efforts!

I didn't even look at our itinerary til tonight and we have been upgraded to a Cat 7 (so now we have a verandah)...but we are aft on deck 6. Cabin # 6640...Zerog, Ashlotte and Pink, can you please change our cabin # on all the lists. Thank-you!!

I have read the reports on the rooms at the back of the ship, many comment on the engine noise when pulling into port...hopefully it isn't too bad!

Today marked the THREE-OHH Days till we sail.

We were in 7621 on the Wonder. It is aft, we heard no noise from the engines. We had one day doing a very big slow circle, there was basically no motion felt. Our last night going back to port Canaveral was the roughest. We felt some motion on the top deck. We did not feel in the dining rooms up front.

No, no, no, nothing like that. Although you will receive a package about 10 days prior to sailing from DCL. If you don't receive it for some reason, don't panic, you can print your forms from the computer or do it all at the Port.

Howdy!!! Hopefully the back of the bus is ok?? lol!!! I know it is GREAT to be upgraded but I will say I was surprised as we had a "do not move" on our cabin (yup, I am very worried about being sick) I know that if I called and asked to be moved back they would do it, BUT, DH says we should go for it I am thinking that the little pixies have been at work and we will/should be happy with the upgrade to a Navigator's Verandah.

Ok...........only happy thoughts from me about it now, no more FRETTING!!

A Year???????????? We booked our cruise on December 4, 2007!!! That is sick I know!!

Okay, so now we will have to drink those margarita's on the verandah!

We just got our cabin number and I am not impressed by our travel agent. I specifically told her that we wanted cat 8, but I guessed that she decided that she was booking us in cat 9. I just found out when I retreived my file and our cabin number was assigned... I just e-mail her and she said that she was sure that she told me it was cat 9. and that she was really sorry Well, anyway, we are in cabin 2510 on deck 2. I was excited, but right now I am just so mad .... I'll be fine by tonight, it's the weekend after all

And a little note for Zero G : I can give you a little more info on our family ! We are from Huntingdon, Quebec, near the US border Winston is 34, I am 38 and our daughter is named Trista !

Can't wait to see everybody in a month !

Aww...that is too bad. Did you not look at your original invoice, it should say which category. Also, there is no difference between the rooms except that some 8's only sleep 3 and they are on deck 5, 6, 7, with cat 9's being on deck 1 & 2.

Sorry that she made a mistake...but guess what!!!????? YOU are going on a DISNEY CRUISE!!!
