As of right now, there is availability for Palo dinner at 9:00 PM on Key West day. Not the most ideal time but its better than nothing. I was able to book this slot and it still shows availability. Please try ASAP if you want a reservation!!

That sounds like a great day/time to have a Palo dinner. Key West should be a nice relaxing day for most of us and you won't have to rush back to the ship to get ready. What a nice way to kick off the cruise!! Bon Appetite!

Glad you got the reservation you wanted, good for you!!! You will be at Palo a couple of days before us, you can let us know how great it is before we go!:goodvibes

You do have a good point, I forgot that the ship stays in port until sevenish. I'm just not used to eating dinner that late!

I just checked again and there is still availability. I hope that someone from our group gets it. :thumbsup2

Something totally weird....I just got an email notification of our cruise bands being shipped. I thought this was an American company, but apparently that is where the orders go but the bands are actually made.......guess where? Hong Kong!!!! I just put the info in to track the order and was totally shocked, truly not what I expected. Oh well, the tracking says it will be here in two days so time will tell. :goodvibes

Very cool Zerog! Did your DD like ToT??

DD has gotten brave over the last 2 years. She rode Space Mountain in January and now Tower of Terror. For me, ToT is the scariest ride of all the Disney parks. My DS has ridden ToT but now he won't ride it.

Laura, I just read your trip report and want to know if you got brave enough to test out your waterproof camera?? I've been thinking about getting one as well.

LOL....funny you say that....I am going to take a pic and post it, have just been overwhelmed and haven't even added to our trip report. Need to get a move on, cause I have lots to add to it!

I did go and get a float strap for the camera and a case last week, and this morning went and bought magnetic paper to make stuff for our stateroom door...now I just have to get a move on and start doing this stuff! We are still under a major reno at our house and I literally paint from after dinner til midnight, am just exhausted!!

Has anyone here attended the Vista Spa Fitness Classes? If yes, can you explain how they work? Do you have to sign up in advance for them or just show up? In your experience, do the classes fill up quickly? I'm mainly interested in the yoga and pilates classes. Any information would be helfpul!!

Nope.. But my DW did the Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy last cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it (except for the sales pitch - which she would have known about had she read the DisBoards .. LOL).

I noticed that you posted a Flickr page on the bottom of your signature. I went to the site (hey, I'm in a hotel in Alabama right now, so I'm bored :surfweb:). Some of those photographs (which I assume you took) are amazing. :thumbsup2 I was going to comment on some of my favorites but there are way too many to mention. If you don't mind, I'd like to suggest that other Magical Mayniacs browse on over. You are truly talented! :artist:

I went ahead and reserved this limo (Cadillac Escalade) to take us to the port. I needed to find one large enough to carry 6 people and over 12 pieces of luggage. This will be a big surprise (shhhh) for the kids and my in-laws; a great way to kickoff the vacation. I told my DW because (**I can't keep a secret**) I'm going to need her support in getting everybody ready in time. So if you see this limo unloading some passengers at the cruise terminal, feel free to stop by and say hello. Fingers crossed something doesn't get messed up.

Awww thanks  I took all of the photos, its my hobby and I truely enjoy it. My career is very technical and structured so the art of photography helps me balance my life out a little. I'm looking forward to taking my new camera (Nikon D90) on the cruise! :)

Thanks again!!

Wow, that will be cool!! I'm sure it feels better spending your money on that than having to drop $105.00 to park your car at the terminal. Paying that much for parking just kills me, but I won't go there...

We only live two hours from the port but we have to drive all the way to Gainesville the night before to drop our dogs off at my Parent's house to save them from the dreaded kennel. :dogdance: Its amazing what we will do for our pets.

Just a random photo to brighten your day :) YUM!!
