Kristin- You found us!! I just went and posted to the Parrotheads, sorry I havent purposely been avoiding you guys, its just hard right now to keep everything straight of who and where I posted at last I will try to get better I am also helping watch my DMIL'S house while she is gone, but she is returning tomorrow so that is less on my plate that I will have to do and it will give me more time to post on here...just a little but more than what I have now.

Zerog- Wow 25 weeks...soon that will be days...then cruise time That will be so exciting!!

Hey girl! How you doing?

Merkie is doing great. She stayed overnight at Camp Nathaniel last night. It's a Christian based camp that runs during the summer. They had a one night Pre-teen Rally trying to more people interested in the summer programs. She loved it.

My hand feels a lot better. I still have the brace and am still typing with one finger though. I go back Tuesday to see if the brace can come off. I am praying that it does. This is miserable.

I am thinking about booking the 2010 cruise that Kristin and everyone has booked. Merkie wants to go and she will be turning 13 in Nov of 2010. Her birthday is one week from today.

Have you started planning your Feb cruise? You probably don't know if you are coming or going: moving, Christmas, and two cruises to plan. All good things, but all are a lot of work!

Hey ALL!!!!

I can't remember if I posted about this, but I am heading to WDW at the end of this week......5 more sleeps!!! I can't wait as this was a quick trip that I planned just a few weeks ago.

For those of you living in Florida, am I crazy to only pack capris, shorts and tees, and sweatshirts? I really hate wearing pants when I am down there (just ruins everything). I am hoping that I can get away with that. Guess I should add that it takes a lot for me to get cold, am usually very warm (except when it comes to swimming, then it has to be freakin' hot)

I am so excited to go that I keep thinking.....oh my! Wait til the cruise comes up!!! 25 more weeks is just a drop in the bucket!!! After all, we have waited ages and ages!

Hey ALL!!!!

I can't remember if I posted about this, but I am heading to WDW at the end of this week... For those of you living in Florida, am I crazy to only pack capris, shorts and tees and sweatshirts?

Laura, this time of year it is mostly warm in the day and cool (sweater weather) at nite. Yesterday morning (~10am) I took the puppy for a walk wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I was uncomfortably cool. So I told the kids to put on sweat pants and sweat shirts before we headed out to the county fair. By noon, the sun was fully blazing and we were uncomfortably warm.

A few weeks ago we had a cold front move thru which drove temperatures to the freezing point. Okay, I call 50 degrees freezing. Brrrrrr.

I looked up the 10 day forecast.
As you can see, the highs get up to the mid-80s and the lows do down to the upper-40s. That's almost a 40 degree differential.

Yes, I have booked our 5/2/09 Magic cruise, and joined your group.

This is our first DCL cruise (my DH and I have been on a Alaska cruise before children), and the first cruise we have taken our 3 boys on. They will be 4, 7, and 9 when the cruise leaves next year.

Hey Neighbour, oops mean Lisa! I am going to decorate our door too, and after Christmas I will make our fish extender. If you want to take part in our fish extender exchange just post here and Tazgirl will put your name on the list along with you childrens names and ages.....don't forget, the FE are for the grown ups too!!!

On a side note, I worked in the hospital for only a short while (20 years ago and in palliative care and oncology mostly) Since then I have worked with a Chiropractor and as a foot specialist (doing orthotics). I LOVE what I do and would not change it, ever!

Hello Julie! I'm glad to see you survived "Project Move Shauna"!!!1 Welcome back home. It's great visiting family and friends, but it does feel good to get back home to. You will probably go through a few days of Chris withdrawl.

I have the brace off my hand. Thanks for asking. The doctor says it still needs some healing time so I'm supposed to be careful with it and not over do it. Honestly, I can't overdo it because when I try it starts hurting and swells up. But I can do so much more than I could with the brace on though.

Have you guys started making any plans for the February cruise? It's getting closer and closer.

Gssmks (Gail) and Kritter (Kristin) are not cruising with us on this cruise, they were with me on the cruise in October and they thought it would be sweet to come and see us on this thread... So any questions on the cruise that everyone is wondering, they can help give some GREAT advice

Guess what everyone??!?!?! Im getting a German Shepherd puppy this weekend!! Im so excited I felt that my life wasnt busy enough that I had to add another member to take care of I will be heading up to moms on Friday evening with dad and we will look at the pups on Saturday morning and come back home (hopefully with puppy in tow) on Sunday sometime.

On a good note...this has gotten me to finish up unpacking everything and getting things in order

Well I am off to get more things done and get us packed for this weekend as Mike is going away to Kansas for work (for a few days) and we are heading to moms....Mom you didnt think you could get away from us for too long did you?!?! Talk to you all later and I will be sure to post pictures when the pup arrives

Yea we are getting a few things ready for the cruise but Im toooooo tired to be excited right now. I need some time to recoup. I dont even have time to miss Chris yet. Now that they are comming here for the weekend. hehehehehe One day I might get my life back in order. My house is still a mess but for the moment, its staying that way.
Oh great, your hand is out of the brace, thingy. It will take time to stop hurting but at least you can move it alittle better without that on. Im so happy for you.
Well Id better go, I half to get up early tomorrow and its already after twelve thirty. Oh well. Later all.
