:cake: Happy birthday tutor! :cake:

Reality - just wait until next April. The excitement is unspeakable. :cool1: But why wait until then! We can all surely start the enthusiasm today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUTOR!

I got a new suitcase too, actually 2 and they are burning a hole in the closet they want to go somewhere real soon.

Hey!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Guess I am in good company, mine was yesterday!

Awesome news on the suitcase! My DH gave me a new golf cart, I love it but is sure isn't "cruise worthy" :rotfl:

Hope you have a good rest of the day!!

wow, what a cool birthday gift! (and happy belated birthday) i've had a great day so far - a wonderful lunch with dh and dd and today the drink of the day was a pineapple martini - ummmm!!! that was really good and really got me in the mood for going somewhere tropical! dd and i did a little shopping and i found her some cute disney crocs at marshalls for $14.99 - i had no idea they carried those :) we got them in a little bigger size so they will fit next year. of course, all she knows is that we are buying for next year, she still doesn't know about the cruise! i cannot wait until her birthday because that's when we get to tell her - sadly, it's 8 months from now - ahhh!

thank you everyone for the nice birthday wishes...believe it or not, i am tutoring today, but that's okay because i have a very good reason coming up :goodvibes

Laura - What day did you set your trip counter? :sad2:
My trip counter, as well as tutor's are the same.

-----

OK, never mind. Your counter is counting down toward a different event.
*slaps forehead *

That's ok....we are heading to Port Canaveral I believe on Wed, April 29, 2009 for a few days before the cruise. The earlier I can get there the happier I will be!

Tip Of The Day

You don't have to use your KTTW card to lock your safe. The safes in the room lock when your KTTW card is slid through it. Problem is you need the exact same card to open it. If one partner is up at the pool and the other wants to get something out of the safe you are out of luck. Plus if sadly you misplace your KTTW card then you have to call to have someone come and open it up for you.

Here's the tip of the day. You can use any card with a magnetic strip. Like your grocery discount card! Then if you use that you can put it somewhere else in your room where everyone else in your party can get to it if they want to get in the safe. Of course you don't want to just leave it out on top of the safe (since the safe wouldn't be very secure then).

Tip Of The Day

Oops.. Didn't mean to post this twice.
It wasn't THAT important.

So............I did it, I finally did it! I finally bought my first official "cruise purchase"!

I have been looking and looking at bags that we could take to the beach and use on an excursion also. Which meant that it had to be a good size, could hang over my/our shoulder, had a few pockets in it, isn't totally made of cloth, and most important zips up! Well, finally found it! I had almost purchased a different one about a month ago but it didn't zip, so decided against it and I have been kicking myself since.

So, I am out shopping on Saturday and there it is, just perfect and we can also use it as a carry-on for the plane...........ONLY problem is.........it is pink and white. Well, you say it isn't a problem....hmmmm, I don't want to be stuck carrying it all by myself all the time! ;) I head home and ask DH if he would carry a pink bag around and he said "no problem", WHEW! Off I went and bought the bag and yup it sure is PINK!:cool1:

I also went and bought an over the door shoe holder. That purchase I am not too sure of as it has 20 pockets, isn't that a little excessive? I am thinking I might find a smaller one somewhere.:)

Count your blessings Laura.. I wouldn't carry the pink bag ... :sad2:
I'd blame my DW for buying a pink one in the first place. Ok, I 'might' carry the pink bag, but I would negotiate .. :rolleyes1 DW knows I won't hold her purse! Now, let me go run and duck while you ladies throw things at me. :duck:

No door shoe holder is too excessive. We had every pocket filled, and even doubled up. There is little to none counter-top space. We tossed everything into those pockets.

Hey all!

My family and I are just back from our first cruise (June 29, 4 night Wonder plus a week at the poly/BC) and rebooked May 2, 7 night while on board--nice discount! We had a wonderful time. CC was fabulous! I actually relaxed (at present I'm going through a divorce so that's saying something!).

I'm very excited to see all Dis'er's on this cruise. I've read some of the thread, but not all. The most important thing I picked up on here...the over the door holder! We used one and it was invaluable. Everyone should get one.

I have to say (sorry if I sound like a piggy) 2 desserts every night is cool! I ate ALOT and enjoyed every yummy bite. The most interesting dish I tried was the ratatoui (not spelled right I'm sure, but you know what I mean, like the rat movie) It was yummy. My 9 year old DD could wait to tell all of her friends that she ate Remy's food!

If anyone has any questions let me know

BTW I love the weekly countdown by Zerog!

My whole family will be on the cruise as well :cool1: We will be celebrating hubby and my 10 year anniversary :lovestruc So not only will it be DH, DS and myself, it will also be my Parents & Sister and my MIL  We are all so excited. It will be DS, DH and my 3rd time cruising Disney (first was 4 days on the Wonder last year) second will be this October on the Magic first time (YAY!!) and then May will be our 3rd time but second on the Magic :cheer2: But this will be my parents & sister's First Cruise ever :yay: Cant wait to see everyone then :grouphug:
