I will be joining all of you on the May 2nd Cruise! My fiance and I will also be getting married on the ship and will be bringing lots of family! We did things a little backwards and had kids before the wedding so we'll be bringing along our baby who will be 1 1/2, our daughter who will be 3, and our son who will be 10. We are all VERY excited and are looking forward to making some amazing adventures!

What an honor to share the same cruise that you say your vows. Will you be wearing the veil with mickey ears? BTW, my DW and I got married after we found out she was pregnant with our first son (who will be 9 at the time of the cruise).

Linds79-Congratulations on your DCL wedding!!! It's good to see a fellow Oregonian on the cruise.

We were thinking about doing a vow renewal but it has been like pulling teeth to get anyone from Disney Weddings to call me back. So I think we will just enjoy our cruise and use the money we would have spent on our next cruise.

Welcome Linds79!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so exciting that you are getting married on the ship! I am so excited for you! Was it a lot of planning etc. ?

If I had it to do all over again, we would have had a Disney Wedding!!!!

The planning has been surprisingly easy. The wedding coordinator takes care of pretty much everything. We only get one choice of cake - so that was an easy decision; a few different bouquet choices - easy 'cause I want red roses; and they have two different photography packages. So far, it's been pretty simple... but ask me a month before the cruise and I may have a different answer!

Hmmm... i'm not so sure about the mickey ears! Maybe for fun while we board the cruise (we'll actually be signing the marriage papers then). And possibly for some fun pictures with the fam - who knows! I'm open to anything!

Yeah, I just saw that a few days ago! RATS!

I think it would be nice to have "May" incorporated somehow. Cruisin' Maytes (mates)....I don't think that the spelling matters (since it is used in a play on words anyway.....or someone correct me ), therefore opening up some new windows perhaps?

Are there any football fans in the house?

My DW is what's known as a "football widow." When football season starts, that's all I do - watch games, study stats, and check how my fantasy football teams are doing. DW just leaves me alone. When its over, I'm not allowed to join any baseball or basketball leagues. So we compromise.

My favorite team is the Jacksonville Jaguars. I mostly follow the pro's but sometimes I'll watch a big college game. If I had to pick, I'd say my favorite college team is the FSU Seminoles. Funny thing is, I was a huge Gator fan when I was a kid. Now I can't stand them. Go noles!

I used to follow a little football....way back in the day of Anderson and the Bengals or Riggins and the Redskins ( ok, I am really dating myself)..........but that was when DH and I were first together. I had to like it then DH still watches a little, but he is big into College basketball and some football.

Our DS is huge into every sport, also does fantasy football and hockey. Being from Canada, hockey is the center of sports for us I like hockey, DS loves hockey, DH tolerates both of us Go Leaf's Go!!!!

we are from Steeler Country but we are more into hockey and love the Pittsburgh Penguins, they made us so proud this year. But I am a huge NASCAR fan, Jeff Gordon is my driver. I also study NASCAR stats and have been in a fantasy league for two years and have done pretty good at it. DH not so into NASCAR, but we both enjoy hockey together.
