And what you do is each member that decides to participate in the Exchange Buys or makes one of these and has them hung by their stateroom door. Then Everyone gets or makes gifts or brings something special for each person participating in the exchange. You dont have to give much, it isnt to break the bank so to speak. But its something fun and its neat coming back to your room and having a gift or two waiting for you

On the other meet that I am on, They made a list of who all is participating and then their stateroom Numbers and AGE and/or occassion of who all is traveling (in case you want to do something related for gifts) and Each person gets a gift for everyone (whatever you want).

You can assign people to give their gifts on certain days if you want everyone to get a gift each day or if you like or it can be a free for all (meaning you can give them out whenever you want to during the cruise). But each person is supposed to get a gift Also you can either just get gifts for certain ones or you can get gifts for everyone thats participating (depends on what the rules are going to be) for the cruise meet that I am on for October, You must bring something for everyone on the list...about 16 people so far participating on that one. But not every cruiser participates or has to, just whomever would like to

I did look at those...lol.....just thought that someone might have come across a real close up so I wouldn't have to search. (obviously, I am very visual) I will peruse those threads again, hopefully will see one that I can really tell from.

What is the Caylee thread?

This is a thread on the DISboards that is about the little girl Caylee that is missing. They tell all the updates of her and everything. This is how to get to it. After your into the DISboards you go to "Just for fun" then you click on "community boards" then under the thread "Please look at this picture. Has anyone seen this missing baby -- Updates throughout" Its all about her. Lots of stuff going on there. I hope they find her.

I sure will....although, I probably won't spend much time on that stuff until September. We are heading away for a week starting this Saturday so have been busy trying to get organized to go. So I think it is a fall project! I have been playing with pics etc. to make into magnets, by the time I get back to it, I will have forgotten what I had figured out...

I think I have everything ready to go for Vegas for Friday

tazgirl - DW and I went hiking up in Kyle Canyon, which is about 45 minutes outside Las Vegas. I don't know if this interests you. If it is, I highly recommend getting away for a day and walking some of the trails. The weather was a wonderful 78 degrees (as opposed to over 100 on the Vegas strip).

Just be sure you have a full tank of gas. To get to the trails, you drive several miles to reach the 7000 foot elevation. Our rental car just slurped down the gasoline . On the drive back, I put the car in neutral and coasted all the way down (seriously, I coasted about 10 miles).

Also, if you aren't used to hiking, be forewarned that some of the trails are rated 'strenuous.' Air is thin and many of the trails just go up up and up. Bring a bottle of water and some light snacks.

Thanks Zerog...Last time we went (a couple months ago) we spent four days in Utah and we Hiked Bryce Canyon and that was gorgeous. I am terrified of heights and had Chris in the backpack carrier thing(yes thank goodness he is small but still not small enough when you are carrying him on your back at nine thousand feet elevation). But I am so glad that we had the opportunity to do that. We have tons of wonderful pictures from hiking...they look like postcards the are that pretty! Mike (hubby) was talking about maybe going out to Red Rock while we are there (but that is not as cool as Utah) yea when we were there in Utah, there was still some snow on the mountain tops...it got very cold up there

the fish extenders measurements are 8''x21'' for the back the pockets are 5 and one half inches by10'' when cut(to allow for the fold) I will try to get some instructions made up for those who want to make them.
