Hi all of you Magical Mayniacs How are you all doing?? Havent heard anything from anyone over here recently so I wanted to say hi.

Hi back, and hi everyone!

We just had a very busy weekend at our house. No trips to Las Vegas, lol, but we did get to see Cirque du Soleil in our home town on Saturday. The show was Corteo and we loved it, especially the "trapeze-less" trapeze act, which was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Then, on Sunday, we went to a Folk Festival. Seems like every big city in Canada has a folk festival in the summer. It was great, too, a lot of good music, and the weather was perfect for it. Even the kids had a great time.

Of course, now they all have camps this week, and they're totally exhausted from the weekend, but that's what summer's for, right?

Hey, aren't some of you folks to the south of us starting school soon? I know you guys start early (and earlier and earlier, it seems).

Hi Pinky and everyone

Our kids start school next Monday. It seems that the summer vacation just flew by. Our DS8 will be going into 3rd grade and our DD5 will be starting Kindergarten.

Our DS8 is going to have a busy fall. We have him signed up for little league baseball (kid pitch), Taekwondo (currently an orange belt), and gymnastics. Our DS5 will only be doing gymnastics.

For me, I'm home from Vegas. It was very hard getting out of bed yesterday since I was still on PST.
