So we JUST booked this sailing! So excited!

It is Mom (Patty) and I (Kristi)

For Key West we booked nothing as we want to see the Hemmingway House

Grand Cayman is the Island Tour from 11:30-1:30

Cozumel is Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins from 12:15-4:45

Castaway is a float rental day. I just did the Stingray thing this past weekend there, and while very cool, I don't like fish touching me LOL!

Welcome Patti and Kristi! We have a few "girls only" groups going on this cruise. I'd like to do a girls only cruise one day! What fun!!!

I feel so stupid!! I think I messed up when I was putting the numbers in and put my kids ages as 2 & 2. Here I was all excited over nothing...

That's ok!!! Maybe you'll end up getting some pixie dust anyway! I read on another May cruise meets thread that someone in a cat 8 or 9 was upgraded to a cat 6!! You never know!!! I still continue to check my ressie just in case we get pixied twice!

Kym, More pixie dust being sent out to you. I hope you'll be well enough to handle the cruise! I did the same thing a few times with surgeries: had a Disney vacation either right before or right after. It always helps with the pain. I hope the next srgery fixes you all better!

Val- so glad to hear that Lennon is ok for now. I hope his conditions don't worsen. If he really does have a hernia, then boost up that fiber!!! You want to make sure nothing clogs...

No cruise docs for us yet... just filled out the online check-in Info.

I was going to make the correction but Mom beat me too it. Amanda would definitely have a heart attack as she's not ready yet.

What does the "D" in the DDIL mean. I know the rest means Daughter-in-law.

Thanks everyone for being so understanding. I know we are still doing the FE and we will just list each kid's first inital on it. I may just wind up posting one in the near future and just ask everyone that instead of coming up and saying "HI AMY!!!" that everyone gives me a Little Rascals Super Duper Secret Hello sign. I'm sure we will wind up meeting everyone no matter what....and having a great time. Also, I think that you can post our names/ages in the mini-nav and for the FE. I will just tell DH that I told that info before I knew how he felt (which is true anyway!). Thanks again!!

Still no room assignment for us yet and we have yet to pick any excursions if we plan to do them.

Has anyone not had a room assignment until they arrive at port?

This is going to be a very laid back vacation. (but haven't even considered what to pack). DH is still debating if he wants to "dress it up" for formal night. Now just hoping the passports make it before we depart. I hate lugging BC around.

My DH, DC1 and DC2 are wearing suits for formal night and a nice shirt with slacks for semi-formal night. I don't know what I will be wearing yet, but I'll figure it out. I haven't started thinking about what to bring yet but I better start.

It turns out we were assigned a room number pretty much right away, but I only knew that because I called to ask another question and was surprised to hear they had it already.


Oh, btw, My docs say I have confirmed late dining.

I'm dressing up for the fancier nights, largely because I happen to have dresses from other things that I figured I could use an excuse to wear again. I'm a little iffy on the whole formal vs. semi-formal thing, so I'm just going to wear my dresses for both and hope they're in the range of appropriate. My husband will probably only be doing the dress shirt tie & slacks thing, since he doesn't really have anything like a suit (and doesn't typically need it) and I hear that's acceptable, anyway. Even if he had one, he gets too hot and tolerating a long sleeve shirt will be bad enough.

Anyone know offhand for sure which night is formal and which is semi in the itinerary?
