We had Bring Your Child to Work Day yesterday and it was AWESOME. I manned the table where we took about owl pellets. For those of you who don't know, it's those lovely hairballs with the fur and bones left over from their dinner. In other words, puke. It stunk to high heaven, but the kids enjoyed it.

Holy buckets! Where in the world do you work?!?! I looked at your Facebook page info, but I don't know what Amicus is. BTW, I see you also graduated in 1991 (like me!). Wooohooo!! Long live the days of big hair!!

I also graduated high school in 1991 and so did my DH so there are at least 4 of us

3 weeks indeed! Yikes! Actually, the other day we had an argument about how it's not the last minute. I was actually trying to say I didn't want to leave things until the last minute, not that the last minute was now, but it's pretty close, anyway. I guess that's what happens when a person has never really had to shop or pack for himself and can just show up.

Anyway, I'm glad to say we got my hb a suit yesterday, so we're covered for formal night now. Just needs a tiny bit of alterations. Still need some things, but I should be able to do most of the rest myself, so that's easier.


Btw, Donna Martin certainly hasn't gotten any less annoying since the old 90210. lol I hadn't watched it for years, but then I started catching it in repeats years ago while it was still on regularly as well, and then started watching the new eps. too. I always felt funny admitting that I got into it. I debated whether or not I'd watch the new one, but I decided to. It's entertaining enough, so I plan on keep watching.

I'm pretty happy with the movie line up on the ship. There are actually a couple I would like to see. I've never seen any of the HS musical movies, but I'm told I should check them out. Who knows...

Sonya - I can't believe we are going loose you soon. It just doesn't seem right... I'm super excited for you & your trip anyway. It's going to be a blast, I'm sure. Try to check in if you can. We will miss you here! Maybe all of us will have to head over the pond to see you for our next trip. LOL

Jane - Thanks so much for the coupon code to Lands End. Got my swimsuit in the mail yesterday & love it. Actually ordered 3. Two were on clearance and one regular price (with Jane's coupon). I think the two that were on clearance are going back (of course, why is it never the other way around).

I am very pleased with the movie line up! I am 31 so couldn't be seen paying to see Hannah Montana - this works out a treat !!! And I just LOVE Bolt! Gonna have to watch that again. What is this new Disney "Earth" film I've heard mentioned? haven't heard of that one.

Yes all come to the UK next year . . . pack thermal vests and plenty of Reece's cups!!! Seriously, if I knew any of you would be on the Med cruise next summer I would stick to that instead of changing to Christmas 2010 in the parks. None of you are thinking of being on the Wonder on December 19th 2010 are you, thats what we will do if we go at Christmas . . . I like to plan ahead!!!

Hi everyone....this was a crazy week, will take me awhile to get caught up! Found out on Wed that I have a heart defect....crazy that you are almost 40 and find something like that out now...according to Dr. Google this kind of defect is pretty common.

All is fine after I got over the initial shock...going for further testing - maybe before the cruise, but I forgot to call to make a doctor's appointment for follow-up, work was so busy today.

19 days to go for us!! That makes me so happy.....

I on the main thread I read about a cognac tasting. Dh would enjoy it. Anyone familiar with it? I have just seen the martini and tequila tastings, but not cognac.

Then I went to an awards dinner last night for work. My company has placed 18th in the best medium sized companies to work for in NJ. YEAH! I love my job.

How cool for the kids. My boys disected them every year at scout camp. Interesting what you can find in scat.

Thank goodness this week is over. I'm SO looking forward to this weekend.

Anyone else feeling old when the kids talk about graduating in 91? My oldest was starting pre-school in 91.

We are supposed to have nice weather all weekend. I'm hoping to get a ton of stuff done, hit the gym weigh in a weight watchers - yuck take a nice long walk and have a backyard picnic.

I went out and bought the first Sookie Stackhouse book and haven't been able to put it down. I love it!! So now I'm ordering the 7 series set, then will get books 8 & 9. My husband is like "Great! Another book series and nothing will get done."


Hope I don't make anyone feel too old....but I graduated in 2002! haha

Adam is also a 1991 grad! I'm a 1995 graduate, so just a few years younger! I never really watched much 90210, though my younger sister LOVED it. I did, however, fall in love with Friends and ER during my high school senior/college freshman year! In the dorms, my friends and I would watch Friends at 8 then talk and eat pizza until ER started at 10! Those were some fun days...
