May 16, 2004 / 4 Day Wonder

I finally got all of our birth certificates. Lost all the kids in all the moves and stuff, mine was just soooo ancient, had to replace it.

I know why I did that - because I will be enroute for my vacation. It will take us 3 hours to get to the train! So I'm right

there is no way that I will be at the train with my kids three hours before the train leaves. We'll meet you there! ha An hour before will do the trick

Then you no board.....I will get the instructions for the train....we cannot be there later than 2. The later we are, the less chance we have a seating together. Not that I care.....LOL. It is a 3 hour ride, not including DC traffic.......

Welcome to the cruise board for the Wonder sailing! It'll sure be nice not being the only ones on board...Maybe you and yours can help keep the family bloodshed from erupting from our other family groups.....with that large crowd, you fill the requirements!

This cruise will host one of DCL's first Service Dogs, too.....Everyone will be famous!

Its all in fun. :jester:

Of course it is...Y'all would've killed each other off by now if it weren't

I do so LOVE watching family interaction...I'm an only child, myself, and my little brother can vouch for it!

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

p.s. I just learned that DCL HAS hosted other Service Dogs before...They just act like they haven't...

Sorry, no fame......

You let us down Lynda, I was planning on seeing our names in print on the covers of many cruise magazines ;)

Sigh, so was Cash, the ham.....
I only found out quite by accident...The TA for this cruise called to say that all my angst over trying to find a vet able to issue a Health Certificate to Cash 48 hours before arriving in the Bahamas (either a Sat, or Sunday) was for nothing...The Bahamian officials reported to DCL, FINALLY, that Service Dogs were exempt..., which DCL should have known from its 7-day cruise with a service dog on board....So, a little fame, not much....You want more? Paint an ear ring on the Mickey pool....

A quick good morning to all before I head off to bed (nightshifter here).

I almost had to bold faced lie to my Dad yesterday to keep him from realizing that we're going to WDW after the cruise. He was asking (again) what days he needs to ask off from work (the man is 76 years old and still works). I tried to be elusive and say "well, it's a 4 night cruise that starts on the 16th, so the cruise ends on the 20th." I thought that was sly, but informative enough. But then he asked "So we're back on the 20th?" I gulped and said "Yes, we're back on the 20th."

At first I was a little dissapointed that I had to lie to keep the surprise a surprise. But the more I thought about it (translation: rationalized it) I realized that I didn't actually lie. We WILL be back on the 20th. Back to the PIER! Ha! I never said we will be back HOME on the 20th. Ha! My record is clean.

You guys have a great day while I sleep. Maybe I'll dream a little about the cruise!

No docs yet, got the tickets and passes for Kennedy Space Center yesterday.......Come on May!!!!!!!!!!!
