May 14, 2012 - Va-moose-ing to Vancouver!

Wonderful! It would be great to have a bigger one for the door. Hmmm I've already collected a pile of designs for the door. May need to redecorate each day :lmao:

Don't laugh...I did it on the PC cruise in January! :lmao:

Hi everyone!

We booked for this cruise while on our Mexican Riviera cruise this past March. We're so excited!!

Traveling in our group: Bryce (DH), Lori (me - DW), Hannah (DD) and Emily (D-niece) and Skyler (DS).

We live in the San Francisco bay area so if anyone needs tips for the City, give a shout out and we'll share what we know.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome! Love San Francisco!

Dis name: Lovebug Eeyore
Names of travelling (ages of kids too): Bob, Patty, Christina, Michelle, Oma (Wilma)
Early/Late dining: Late

My husband, Mother-in-law and myself will be on the 2012 LA-Vancouver cruise and my college age daughters will join us for the Alaska cruise. Can't wait!

This will be our 6 & 7 Disney cruise. We did do the Holland America DVC exchange cruise in 2006 and loved it

Welcome Lovebug Eeyore!

I needed a project for the long weekend so I'm starting to think about what might make a good FE gift. For previous cruisers what did you like to see in the pockets of your FE?

Wow I didn't see the question till now :confused3 We just enjoyed seeing what people came up with giving us hehe.

So how's everyone doing? Sydney just started preschool again so she's gone in the afternoons but boy does she still come home grumpy! Can't wait till she's adjusted... But by then we'll be going to Disneyland for almost 2 weeks and she'll have to re-adjust when we get back again hehe.

I'm looking forward to my Disneyland trip in October so haven't done as much cruise planning. Can't believe we are less than 9 months away though! I need to get on with the pre-cruise planning!

Oh, and I think I've come up with a FE idea but I'll have to see if I can make it work. I do have a back up plan if it turns out badly :lmao:

Is Sydney grumpy from missing a nap or just not liking being away from home?

She's just grumpy from not having a good rest and instead being very busy. Luckily, she hasn't really napped since last Spring, but we have instead done quiet time for an hour in her room.

When are you going in October? We'll be there the first week.

I'm sure she'll get herself sorted soon then!

I'll be there right in the middle. Oct. 15 - 19. Trying to decide whether or not to do the tour and party...

We'll miss you then! We are there the 1st-10th and then we do San Diego till the 12th We're splurging a little bit since we are canceling our WDW Christmas/New Year's trip (thanks to new baby lol). We are actually doing the Halloween Party. Something we really said we'd never do because they're so expensive! Really a 4yr old is $44?? Geesh.

Forgot to pop back in and let everyone know that we are booked for sure!

Cabins 2096 & 2094
Early Dining (yipee!)
FE: Can't fit it all in my luggage so sadly, no.
Celebrating: DD's tenth birthday

We will do DL for three days prior. DD and I are pros but my parents have never been.

DD is pretty funny, the cruise is pretty much all she wants to talk about with her grandma and poppa but it is nine months away!

I have a hard time talking about anything else as well!

We are trying to decide right now how many days to do before the cruise. We love DL but don't want to exhaust ourselves before we get on the boat!

I would have loved the have more than three days myself but the decision was tempered by the fact that I don't want to take DD out of school for too many days (two of the DL days will be Saturday and Sunday so I will only be taking her out of school for one extra day with the DL add-on). Also, my parents will definitely not be able to keep up the kind of pace that we do the park for more than 2.5 days. As it is, I am going to have to slow it down and plan very carefully to minimize walking and maximize the amount of resting opportunities.

Of course, we will have a week on the ship (three sea days!) to chill out and relax. That was what I enjoyed last spring. After storming DL at 7am every day for five days it was nice to sleep in until 8:30.

I'm not sure we'll spring for DL before the cruise. Ticket prices are just so insane! We're going in less than a month anyway :) Though we could get an annual pass but with a new baby coming it's more up in the air hehe.

Got our staterooms sorted now 2612 - same cabin for this and the B2b Alaska :)

Congrats! We have the same cabin for both as well. We didnt originally but changed it so we don't have to pack mid-cruise.

8 months from today..... not that I'm counting the days.....:rolleyes1

I admit it. I'm counting too!

I am afraid to count - I'm not ready! I need to really plan when we get back from our cruise in October.

I need to start some planning now! I'm pretty sure it's going to get much harder between now and then to do much that I want hehe. But first I need to get ready for Disneyland :) Maybe after that I can think about FE stuff hehe

Looking forward to seeing you to say hello! I sent the postcards on Friday.

The Wonder is leaving Vancouver for the winter today. :sad1: I wish I was getting on board!
