Do the folks supplying recipes put their name on the cards, or is it done anonymously? If you put your name on, is it your screen name or real name?
Thank you.

Hi!
I am the "organizer" of the recipe group. One reason this is an easy group to play with is, there are no rules! :thumbsup2

When I did this before....some people put their DIS name on the cards, some had DIS and real, some added their e-mail address, some put their home address on it. All of them had some type of "name" but you don't have to. I thought the e-mails were nice to have so I could contact a person after I got home with a question about the recipe (we don't have that brand of whatever in my area: a substitution?) or to tell the DISer I really enjoyed the new recipe or just to catch up and say "HI!" to a fellow traveler. Also, if the name is on the card you have something to start talking about if you meet on the ship later at an event.

Also, I'm printing out two recipes to pass out (at different times) and I think someone else said they are sharing several. To me, it's easy to do and I figure I could use the exercise waking the ship to deliver them!!!

SO, a huge answer to a basically yes or no question!!!

See you real soon!

Barb

I put both.. real and screen...that way if anyone has any ?? they know who to ask.

Cool. So looks like they are following the same schedule from last year. That means my packing/laundry strategy is still valid :)

Jim

You have a packing/laundry strategy? Impressive, care to share with someone whose stategy is to put stuff in until no more will fit.

FE group 3 - In our room their are 2 families/separate households....how many others in our group like that? One of our gifts is a family/household gift & we wanna make sure we make enough! Thanks!

Caled DCL and they told us Pirates Night would be night 9.
Also, Formal nights are nights 3 and 13, and Semi-Formal is night 8.

Thanks for this information, I just got back from shopping and found some new dresses for the trip.

When will we close FE #4? I leave on the 9th to spend some days at WDW before the cruise.

Hey--you stole MY packing strategy! :rotfl2:

My laundry strategy is bringing some Purex sheets (all in one) and doing a couple of loads along the way. That may mean I will bring less stuff, but then again, it may not. ;)

FYI.... My dad was included in all FE with me in my room... also most of the candy exchanges. We have moved him to his own room I noted this on all the spreadsheet categories... I think... Anyway he will be staying in Cabin 6564..... So please make a note of this. If you need to you can still leave it at my cabin... but I think he would enjoy having it delivered to his. Thanks everyone
I can't wait to get this party started....:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Ok, in keeping with the mock draft season :) I performed the 2nd annual mock packing draft, it lasted a good 5 rounds with haggling, bartering, some weeping (trying on last year's summer stuff) but all in all I think it was a success, I came in with 1 suitcase for the 2 adults and 1 for the kids all under 50 lbs!!!

I am finding the 3 days pre-cruise at WDW are the killer, so many more shoe options there :)

Cheers!!!

Are you kidding me? I put our toiletry bag together today and it alone weighed 6lbs!!

Awesome Jill! I know we are still working on FE gifts so no worries for us adding 1 on. (I think we are planning on bringing a few extras too just in case).

way impressive! I just got my suitcases dug out, figured that I was doing good. Of course my favorite flip flops better materialize soon or I am going to be really mad.

I have a stack of stuff (pink boa, FE gifts not put together yet, FE, windbreaker for DH, etc.) in the corner of bedroom to be put in the suitcases which are still in the basement. That's sort of an accomplishment for me the 1am packer the night before. No rhyme or reason to my packing it always just falls together the night before. Lots of solid colors to mix n match. If clothes need to be sent off to be laundered, then so be it. I pack less if I'm crunched on time. If I would start now, I'd keep throwing this shirt and those shoes in the suitcase. :rotfl:

Packing has commenced! The suitcase has been sitting in the corner of my bedroom and I couldn't take it any longer so I started with DS clothes. He gets 6 t-shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 dress shirts, suit and ties, 2pair of pants for dinner, 1 pair of sweat pants, fleece, sweatshirt, light weight jacket, 2 swim suits, sneakers, flip flops, dress shoes and leather sandals. Yikes I think it is too much anyone have suggestions? I have already decided I'm leaving his dress shoes at the end of the cruise since they will not fit him by next fall.

Alrighty then, I have to admit on this front at least I am glad I only have to pack for me this cruise!

that is great that you were able to add Kelsi on-- FYI on FE 3 page you have cabin listed ending with a 6 in one place & a 7 on the last column
