Steve,

Thanks for this link!!! We cross over from the Deland area to the New Smyrna Beach area on SR44, looks like we might be taking a different route this time.

Teri, if you haven't done so already check this link out. You might either have to take Route 1 from the Daytona Beach area down to the port, or you might have to detour and take I-4 west to 528 east to the port. I'm glad you guys are leaving earlier than first planned.

I'd call it:

Two sets of eyes full of mischief!!! LOL!!! :rotfl2:

OK, we're good to go, we just have to wait to pick Angelina up at 11:45, then come home and wait for Rapid Rover to pick us up and take us to the airport this afternoon.

I was shocked, I was in and out of the DMV in less than 15 minutes, I'm good to drive for another 4 years!!!

See everyone in Florida or on the ship!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Well, today's my birthday, but I plan to hold off the celebrating till I'm onboard the Magic! Today's agenda is packing and errands.

Dr. C, so sorry about your cat! And I had a cocker spaniel who was stung by a bee once. The whole side of his face just blew up. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until the vet told me.

Have safe journeys, everyone who is traveling today!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Unc! I am now shutting down the computer. The car is ready, the girls and Eric are sleeping, and when they wake up.......we're outta here!

I just woke up from taking a cat nap, Angelina is still taking her cat nap, Hazel is prancing around the house waiting for the shuttle van to arrive.

These last two hours have been dragging like crazy, and we still have about another hour to wait. I'll be shutting our computer down soon. :wave2:

Hang in there V-Man, you could be in work (like some of us,ugh!). :surfweb: I can't wait for my vacation to start, I'm green with envy. . Oh well, gotta go, lunch is over.

Happy birthday!

I can't believe some of us are already leaving for the trip! Our turn tomorrow!

Am I right that since we have a 4 year old we are on pre-boarding with Southwest?

Yes the Yorkie is adorable! The girls finally agreed on a name, Chloe. Me and DH like it too, so unless they find a new name while on the cruise that will be it.

Gotta go, I'll check v-man's other post later.

I just took this info off the Southwest website:

Boarding Procedure
Each Customer will be issued a boarding pass grouped by A, B, or C (in that order) based on when the Customer checked in online at southwest.com, at the Skycap Podium, Ticket Counter, Departure Gate, or RAPID CHECK-IN Kiosk (where available).

Prior to general boarding, Customers with disabilities, unaccompanied children between the ages of five and 11, and adults traveling with a child under five years of age will preboard. Customers who choose to preboard cannot sit in an emergency exit seat.

Because Southwest Airlines maintains an open-seating policy, general-boarding Customers may sit in any open or unclaimed seat. Customers holding boarding pass "A" will begin general boarding, followed by Customers with boarding pass "B," and then "C." General-boarding Customers who choose an emergency exit seat must meet all requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration and Southwest Airlines.

OK people, that's it! We're outta here, and the computer is being shut down!!!

I will be checking in either later tonight or early tomorrow morning from Florida!!! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Hello May 13th cruisers!!!

I'm currently on the May 6th voyage (don't worry, we're taking good care of the ship!). DH and I received a very cute DCL photo storage box from our TA. Unfortunately, we're really not avid picture-takers or scrapbookers, and I'm afraid the book will just collect dust if left with us.

It's about 14" tall by 12" wide and looks like a thick book. Captain Mickey is on the front and there is a slot on the cover for a photo. I haven't removed the plastic yet, but I hear rustling inside so there must be something in there as well.

If anyone here would like it, I would be more than happy to give it away!

I'll give it to the first person to PM me their name and stateroom number for the 5/13/06 sailing. I will take it down to guest services with a note, and I'm sure they'll get it to you.

I will definitely respond to the first person, but if you don't hear back from me, please forgive me and assume it's already been taken. Unfortunately, internet time is limited!

I hope you all have a wonderful voyage!

Very nice gesture Pearleiq... Hope you had a great cruise & be sure to check for road closers if your driving from the port, many roads closed due to brush fires...
