As I told the kids this morning after today "ONE MORE WAKE UP" :rotfl2: I am going out of my mind - crazy busy - got a couple of shirts done last night for Michelles kids, need to pick up more magnet paper so I can print a couple more door signs -

JODIFLA - where are you? I've seen you out in the general cruise but you disappeared from here.

Kids are going to school tomorrow, and we have a driver picking us up at 2:30 to take us to Providence - :woohoo: putting together the final luggage arrangements today - we have more than I expected :sad2:

Well off to get the kids ready for school.

Have a great day.
Carolyn

Here I am! I have all these last minute details, and a dwindling amount of time, just like everybody. And I keep adding things to my list, like getting a a battery for my Mickey Mouse watch so I can wear that. DH has a big final exam tonight, and two weeks of work to finish in the next two days, so he's a busy guy, too. He asked me last weekend, "Why do vacations have to be so much work?" I told him it would all be worth it when we were actually on the plane!

I'm loving all the pictures of everyone. My scanner is still in the box from our move last year.

Everyone heading out today, have a safe trip, and a few drinks for us until we can get caught up with you!

Look forward to meeting you, and all the DISers!

Jodi

Hanover,
Your girls don't know about the cruise? There are so many names and pictures, I can't keep everyone straight!!! LOL..... You have the three girls, right?

That's sooo exciting. I LOVE surprises!! Although, I'm usually the one giving them. The only surprise that was actually a surprise for me was when my co-workers through me a surprise baby shower at work for my second daughter. I HONESTLY had no idea!!!! It was so nice because I usually figure things out. They totally got me!!!! I can't wait until my girls get old enough to understand surprises b/c I will be getting them good!!!! I can't wait to meet you and hear about their reactions.

I actually have 2 boys... one that is 5 and one turning 9 on 5/13.

I do think we have to show them some kind of ID/tell them at the port to get in parking. I'm not sure we'll be able to make it that far in the surprise thing myself...they may be listening to their Ipods, or we may say to the gate guard we're off to see the Magic or something. I don't know. We are winging it. Either way they'll be surprised whenever they do find out for sure. I just can't wait to see their expressions. I am not positive DH will be getting my parents anyway. They may take a shuttle or taxi. They'll let us know.

We were woken up at 4:40 AM because DH forgot to put the sleep timer on our tv and someone was banging on a door and yelling on tv. DH thought it was DS8 yelling for us. We were both startled awake. He fell back asleep and I listened to him snore 2 more hours.

I really shouldn't be on this because we still have to pack our clothes. The boys practices went so late last night, they weren't home until 9:00 and by then they got showers and we all went to bed. We know what we are taking...just have to get the luggage down from the attic and pack it up.

We pick up ds8 from school at noon and are heading to the airport.

We should be at Downtown Disney this evening for a late dinner/dessert...we LOVE the volcano at Rainforest Cafe. We also promised our lego loving ds5 he could blow some of his souvenir money at the Lego store.

See you all soon. If I don't log on again before we leave, everyone have a safe journey to the port!

Danielle, Derek, Keegan and Brennan

Looking forward to a report from the Radisson. When you are down there let us know what the situation is with the fires, OK? If we get detoured too much we may have to forego our stop at the grocery store for our "cocktail beverages". The rest of us that are still packing will enjoy hearing about everything while we're getting caught up with our packing.

Well Teri & Andy I'm going to go and see you all later I have other things to do on computer making sure my pages are in order...LOL...codes can be a real headache as you both know...Later!

Never skip the adult beverages, just leave earlier. :drinking1 :rotfl2: Everyone have a safe trip, see you on the magic.

Poppop, you are having way too much fun on here. You should have joined long ago. I think you are developing a habit called DISing. Fun, isn't it?

Andy, I am glad you are taking your laptop. Keep us up to date on all the fun you are having. I couldn't sleep last night either. I swear I looked at the clock every 15 minutes.

To everyone who is leaving soon...have a safe, fun trip! Can't wait to meet everyone!

Donna

Everyone leaving today and tomorrow have a safe trip.

Teri actually I'm the one with the 3 girls. My daughter takes ballet too and her recital is next month as well. We taped a practice on our video camera so she can practice at home. This is my first time doing this and I can't believe how much makeup they want them to wear for the recital! I'm not a big make up person and half the stuff they want on her face I don't even own!

I'm all packed but I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something! I hate that! Guess I'll go recheck my lists again!

I realized last night that the one thing I forgot well "2" things I forgot were the pirate night outfits for the boys pirate: so off to IPARTY to see what they have - I have an old hook outfit from halloween that is always a good standby but I am sure they would prefer something else

I also have to get them a belt and new shoes for my oldest.

Back to work and list making!

Carolyn

Like everyone else, soooo busy since Thursday last week but I am down to the end, everything is packed for me except last minute items, my husband is another story.....says he can pack in 20 minutes! :rotfl2: He'll be packing tonight & it will take a little longer than that ;) We both work tomorrow but I will be getting off at 12:00 noon, he gets off around 2:00 pm & we will be hopefully on the road by 3:00 to the Radisson(from the west coast) Hope the roads are ok. We'll hopefully see everyone around the pool on Fri. or at the terminal or on the ship! :cool1: Everyone have a safe trip to the port whenever you travel & then we'll be chilling for a week! :cheer2: :cool1: :bounce: :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: Remembr we're in 8024 if you want to stop by & I think I might wear my green lei at the terminal! Bye for now & see you all on the east coast! :wave2:

I'm home for lunch!!! I just finished the last meter book that needed to be done!!! :yay:

This afternoon, I have to clean out my work car and then wash it, as it has to go in and get serviced while I am away. Only a few hours now, and I'll be doing the "I'm on vacation dance!!!" :yay:

I burned a copy of the Conga Beat song, I think I'm driving Hazel nuts with this song. :lmao: I also have this song loaded into my laptop, guess what I will be listening too on our flight to Florida. :rotfl:  :rotfl:

LOL....after Hanover replied, I remembered... :) This is Lella's first time in ballet also. I taped her first class and the other parents didn't like it b/c I was distracting the other kids.....OOOppss!!! :) I was excited. The makeup thing is crazy...remember the post from V-man for Angelina???? Oh well, just think of how cute their going to look in their outfits!!!! My daughter's class is dancing to Bibidi Bopidi Boo!!! How perfect!!! :wizard: Their going to be wearing baby blue/white tutus and they may each have a wand. The teacher isn't sure yet, but I think, as 3/4 year olds....they shouldn't....LOL.....that could get messy.....LOL......

Well, off I go. Gotta get the kids down for a nap. Can't wait to meet everyone. It'll be cool that my Unc will have his laptop, so we can get everyone else even more pumped reading his live posts before they get there!!!

Thanks, Veranda Man, & the same for you & all your family! Since you will have your laptop I guess you'll be capturing the pic of the ship in port & hopefully someone will get the picture of the Magic passing by Two palms web cam? ;) Good pics for scrapbooks :thumbsup2

I haven't seen the Magic on the port cam the past two weeks, I don't know what is up with that. :confused3 But I will be checking Saturday morning, none the less!!! :lmao:

Hi everyone :thumbsup2

WE FLY THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW !!!!

Everything is on the sofa, washed, but not packed. I just gott start and I'll be ok. It's the starting.

Andy, let us know how the roads in Fla are, especially the B-Line. The Weather Channel has been talking about fires further north now.

I figured out how everyone will know us. We're all dark haired, tall, and my & my 7 yo DD STILL has that loose tooth which is now in the middle of the top of her mouth. Too bad there's no hillbilly night on the cruise :lmao:

See everyone Friday at Grills! I'm making the ressie today. :wave2:

Kathleen
:shamrock:

It better be there Saturday morning :rotfl:

Well sad news from here, *our* (another one of those supposed to be the wifes pet, but who takes care of the thing)... cat of 16 years or so had to be put down today. The old gal starting acting very weird on Saturday, then slowly she would not move from room-to-room.. Kidney failure had begun, so she was not long for this World......

Two years ago we were getting ready for vacation & my dog suddenly can't walk on one leg... Thought the wife ran over him w/the car while backing out of the garage (she tends to have issues with backing out of the garage :rolleyes1 ) Since we were kenneling him that day, I had to run him to the vet... Bee sting on top of the paw.. HOW THE *ELL does a Wheaten Terrier with all that fur gets a freaking bee sting is beyond me.... :lmao:

pirate: Arrrggg!!! I was almost packed when I noticed that the zipper on my suitcase is starting to detach. Now I can't have my clothes falling out all over Florida, so I now have to go suitcase shopping.

I hope that everyone leaving today and tomorrow have a fun and safe trip. We are not leaving until late Friday. We are flying into Tampa (to save $300) and staying at WDW Friday night so we won't be at the port until Saturday. I hope everyone meeting at Grills has a great time!!!

DrCavin, I am so sorry to hear about your cat!!!

Our dog stepped on a bee a couple of years ago too. He is a chihuahua so his foot swelled up to the size of a golf ball and he fell over on his side immediately. I thought that he was dying. Some people have to carry around epi pens for their kids, I have to carry around pills for my dog.

Thanks Aqua, hopefully being away will help the kids deal with it...

I would have never guessed that a dog would be alergic to a bee sting, but it makes sense now that I think about it... sometimes I think pets are more work than the kids.. NO WAIT that can't be true ;)
