Does anyone know if Goofy's Candy Kitchen takes the DP snack credits?? My kids are DYING to go there this year!

Yes, i believe only on certain things though

Soda, rice crispie treats, that sorta thing there is a little logo by the stuff that they take the credits for

Well, since they are more generous with snacks on the dining plan this year, I am looking forward to a lot of things!

I read on another thread that Goofy's Candy Store does have several items on the snack plan. One of them is 3 pretzel rods dipped in a topping and then rolled in another. All for one snack credit!! We are definitely doing this!

I really want to try a Dole Whip this time too!! Can anyone tell me about it??

You wanted to know about the dole whips. It is a soft serve pineapple ice cream (actually, it might be more of a sorbet, rather than cream? It's been a few years since I've had one). The float is made with either the pineapple or vanilla, in pineapple juice. Very refreshing on a hot day!

Dole Whip tastes like pineapple soft serve ice cream -- but it's really a non dairy dessert that is served like soft serve. It's really, really good -- and only 80 calories, 0 grams of fat, for 1/2 C! I think a serving at the park is more like a full cup, though. I like it best as a Dole Whip float...with icy pineapple juice and a maraschino cherry on top -- and at DL they stick a tiny umbrella in it too, so I hope they do at WDW...I love those silly things. In fact, stick a live parrot on the rim of my glass (as long as his tail is toward the outside) and I'll be in paradise...

BTW...really cool b-day cake!

Goofy's Candy Company definitely takes snack credits We got the 3 dipped pretzels last time and I think a dipped fudge oreo cookie. There may be other things too-we just always go for the dipped treats...YUM!

I actually LOOOVe pineapple, but cannot stand the whips!
I like just getting the pineapple spear and chew away at that YUMMY!!

I'm not sure if I'll like them either. I do like pineapple, but I never order a pineapple shake at the DQ !! We'll see. . . I do want to try the Dole Whip though! The CBR has an excellent Tropical Smoothie!!

How soon before your trip does Disney usually mail out the 'envelopes'?

The package envelopes usually come 2-4 weeks before your trip i can't wait for that one! it usually makes it all seem OFFICIAL!!!

Ok, then I have at least 2 weeks before I can expect something in the mail.
