Kim!!

If you are not doing Table Service then you don't need ADRs!

But if there is any place you ARE DYING TO GO TO, then make an ADR, it just ensures that you guys get to eat there :)

We only plan what parks we will be in when, b/c we choose our dining based on that B/c we are on the dining plan :)

Next questions, as I may have several before my trip:

Do you all really plan out pretty much all day---every day??? I have nothing ''planned'' per se, except the one CM already mentioned. Do I really need ADR for all meals? I really plan on just doing counter service the whole time. Is that a bad idea? THANKS!!

~Kim~

Some of us have booked the dining plan which is why we have made so many adr's, but you are planning on doing a lot of counter service, and that is never a bad idea. Every person and family is different. On our first trip to disney we did all counter service except the luau at the polynesian, and we found it to be fine. This time we have booked the dining plan as we wanted to do a lot of character meals so the dining plan is much cheaper for us.

As for planning out the day. We have made a tentative schedule of which parks we would like to visit on which days (least crowd days), and booked adr's at restaurants in that park. That's the plan anyways, but you never know what may happen.

I have a question too!

Does anyone remember approximately how long it took them to get from MCO- to POP on the disney magical express. I have heard any where form 25 mintes to an hour. Which is closer to the right time.

I've never been to POP, but last time we stayed at Caribbean Beach and looking on the map it is very close to POP and I am pretty sure it only took about 25-30 minutes.

Hi Lake,
Last year it took us 30/40 minutes to get from mco to the Poly..we get in late..usually around 4:00/5:00 pm...our ME had 3 families on board last year...every family staying at different resorts...and we were the second stop. First stop GF...second Poly..third was ASM...so how fast was the bus traveling??? Sorry couldn't help myself...started to sound like one of those math problems. :rotfl2:

Has everyone gotten their taxes done?
jo

I'm going to try to do ours tonight. The main hold up has been getting a W2 from the Army for my DH's time in the reserves. It never arrived in the mail and we've had bad luck getting a copy of his W2 online. Hopefully all that is resolved now and I can print out a copy tonight and do our taxes.

Taxes...finished and tax refund already spent on trip...I do our taxes and I try to get them finished in February...

Trip plans....a lot like Lake...tentative schedule..made our ADR's for the day and park we will visit...we have parkhoppers so may do morning at one park, an afternoon break, and another park in the evening...we just kind of go with the flow...:wizard:

We went from the plane landing and door opening, changing a diaper, checking into ME, getting on the bus, getting off the bus, checking into POP, getting into our room, ALL in 1hr!!! :woohoo: it was like 5 minutes over an hour if that! :woohoo:

We got our taxes done in Feb and the check has been spent. We paid about 300. So I would think your price is good.

WHERE IS EVERYONE??????????:confused3

Whats for dinner? I am making balsamic chicken. Hope it is good. First time trying it

Dinner tonight is:
Pork Chops, pasta for Dh, rice for DS, fries for DD, brocolli for the kids, corn for DH. I'm having Slim Fast.

We got our tax return on Feb 18th, paid in full our trip 1 hour later.

For dinner tonight we had grilled steaks with sweet potato fries and green beans.

Spaghetti, breadsticks, & leftover pizza here.
Oh, & DS9 has some leftover ham too.
It was a regular smorgasbord (sp.?)!!
