I'm just coming back- and i see everyone is leaving

I just got DS at the bus stop, and made the kids some lunch. Now they are eating while watching DD latest favorite disney movie- a princess sing along DVD.

Went shopping this morning, picked up some easter stuff and bought DH some shorts.
I hope he likes them.
He's been working so much lately he hasn't had time to get out to look for himself so I went to Winners (Cdn., equivalent of TJ MAXX) and found a couple pairs for him to try and if he doesnt like them I'll return them.

Question of the day?

Name three things you have recently bought specifically for your disney trip?

I know this was a Saturday question of the day, but hey, it's Monday and I'm avoiding work so I'll answer anyway :p

1) Shoes, shoes and shoes -- they are one type of thing, right? Doesn't matter I've bought more than one pair *whistle*
2) Macy's -- or so it feels that way given the pile of clothing I've started to procure
3) Baggallini -- I am not sure I'll end up using this one at the World after all. I've been using it as an everyday purse to give it a try and have found it hurts my shoulder too much when it's got a lot of stuff in it.

WOW! This board moves fast! So, since I have never been to Disney, I am open to ANYTHING you all want to tell me about it. I have been reading on a lot of diff forums here. I did notice the map of Disney. I did NOT realize things were kinda far apart. I think I thought everything was walking distance from each other. Now, I think a little differently ;) . The morning of our Lilo / Stitch breakfast~it is at 10:30. Do we have time to do anything before hand? OR should that be a lazy morning?

Maybe you could hop on the monorail and visit the other deluxe resorts on the monorail line and then go to the Poly for your breakfast. . .

Or you could just sleep in, watch some Disney tv, and be rested up and make it a late night at the parks!

DH was wondering is there a place at POP or in the parks that we can burn our digital pics onto a CD? How much is it? He doesnt want to bring the laptop with us to do it.

Here is the info I found at ALL Ears net

There are two locations to have your digital pictures transferred from memory cards/sticks to disk. The shop in the Kodak-sponsored Journey Into Imagination Pavilion features a full-service photographic lab. Transferring up to 120 images to a disk costs $11.99 plus tax, and $5.99 plus tax for up to 120 additional images. Prints are $.69 each. (Prices subject to change.) You may also drop off your digital media for transfer at The Darkroom on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios. The cards are sent to the lab at the Imagination Pavilion for transfer, and must be in by 12:00 noon. They are returned at 5:00 pm. Transfer only takes two hours if you go directly to the lab in Imagination.

Uploading to a computer for e-mailing may be available at the business centers of the resorts featuring convention and meeting space, such as the Yacht and Beach Clubs, the Swan and Dolphin, the Grand Floridian, Coronado Springs, or the Contemporary. Call the resorts' business centers before making the trek to make sure they have computers available for Guest use. You will need to bring your own card reader. There will be a per-hour charge for use of these computers, which can be expensive.

I know, I am doing the same thing! I am obsessing about my ADR's and everything really. Like, did I schedule too many buffetts, too many characters meals, is 2 days enough for MK, did I leave enough travel time to get from here to there. . . Blah Blah Blah. . . What can I say, I am an over planner and I just want things to be perfect! pixiedust:

I am glad I am not the only one doing this! :rotfl2: I was up until 4:00 a.m. obsessing over my trip and it's not for another 7 weeks!

It really depends on how early you get up! you do have to allow about 1hr travelling time if you are using Disney transport! b/c you have to go on the bus tot he MK and then hop on the monorail from there!

Ask away we're here to help! and many of us have scheduled adn rescheduled and done it all over again to our own schedules sooo we loooove to help others!!

Bring the laptop! it's outrageously expensive to do it in the parks when you compare how much it costs to do at home! haha OR just buy a huge memory stick! that's what we did :woohoo:

I just put all of our pictures onto cd's from our last trip and from last summer. Now it's all empty, just waiting for our trip. I've got 700 to use.;)

Has everyone gotten their taxes done? We're seeing our new CPA tonight (we are procrastinators) and he is charging $180 an hour!!!!!! I almost fell off of my chair when Dh relayed that bit of news to me.:lmao:

Hoping for a great return....

We paid a little more than that to have the taxes done, but it was well worth it! hahaha! if we owed...well then we would have problems :lmao:

I did ours myself the first week of February!! I used to work for a bank before I became a stay at home mom and "professional volunteer" for the school!! So I am somewhat good with numbers. Our return was awesome this year! That's what prompted us to move our Dec 2007 WDW vacation up to May.

And that's how I became a MAYer :snooty:

Oh - and here's a :grouphug: for all the other overplanners and worriers out there!

Next questions, as I may have several before my trip:

Do you all really plan out pretty much all day---every day??? I have nothing ''planned'' per se, except the one CM already mentioned. Do I really need ADR for all meals? I really plan on just doing counter service the whole time. Is that a bad idea? THANKS!!
