Well, I changed resorts.

When i first booked, I wanted POFQ, but they didn't have any rooms, so I went with POR. I checked yesterday and POFQ had availability and I called and changed.

I know that ya'll like POP, but with it being just me and DH I figured we'd go somewhere a little more laid back. I hope POFQ will be great; it's our first time there.

96 days left for me!

Have fun! we have stayed there before for our honeymoon and really had an awful time, but soo many people enjoy it there!!

What was awful about it? I have heard so many people rave that it is their favorite. I hope I made the right decision...

we were so upset thagt we wanted to switch to POP or anywhere else. We ended up getting comped for 2 nights, that's how bad it was.

It was filthy when we checked in, food court was frightening, housekeeping got worse each time we called to have things straighted out..it was awful. We had been at POP the Swan and then the DCL and after that we wanted to stay at POFW for the remainder of our stay b/c we've heard EVERYONE rave about it and how romantic it was...we are sure it was just an accident, but we will never go back. you know how that happens? it can be a once in a lifetime thing, but you just dont' want anymore to do with it hahah!

Michelle, I got my binder and page protectors today. I believe I am at the 100 day mark today!!

I can't wait to get it started.... Also I want to decorate the window and door. What do you normally use besides the lime green mickey heads?

alright we decorate depending on the season!

Since we're going in May DH and i have been tossing around themes..so we're not sure yet. BUT we use:

Christmas lights
streamers
stuffed animals
window markers

THe Door is ALSO decorated with PAPER for DISers and other guests to sign and anything related to our theme!!

May 8th to May 19th for us. Planned a Mother's Day tea at the GF for my DDIL and myself, and a Mother's Day dinner at the California Grill with the family (hoping to see the fireworks from the CG).
Only 94 days and counting.....love planning this trip. Wishing you all a magical trip.

Can't wait to hear how you like it at POFQ, that's where I orignally wanted to stay, but then a few members of DH family said the wanted to come to WDW at the same time as us and have never been before and wanted they needed to stay at a value resort. So since they wanted us to be with them, I chose Pop century since it was the first stop from the airport, and had its own Disney Bus. We had already done an All Stars Resort.

So we spent the extra money this trip on the Dining Plan instead. I know the kids would be just as happy with Pop as anywhere else we stayed.

So how many days do we all have left now???????? 97

It sure is hard to look forward to May when it's -5 degrees outside.

I'm very excited about the stay at POFQ. Once, we rented a boat from DTD and rode past it. It looks beautiful and I think it will be nice. I just asked my children, ages 11, 7 and 4 how they liked staying at POP and they said they really liked it. DH and I didn't really care for it, but we just were there to sleep and get back out to the parks, so it was okay. This trip will be more relaxing, so I am looking forward to those boat trips and some down time.

Made some changes yesterday on my ADR's, and had a great experience talking to CM Mikaela. I cancelled one ressie, and am still trying to figure out what to replace it with.

two options are - liberty tree tavern or garden grill.

any suggestions
