Thanks all for the pool info.

OMG!!!! I thought today was March 11th, it's the 12th!!!! We leave in less then 2 months for the train (May 11th) I was a day behind this morning. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!


What is everyone doing your first day there? We are arriving in Sanford in the morning then taking the kids to the zoo there. DS needs a break before getting to the hotel. We thought a trip to something smaller then Disney would be a good way to start his trip. He loves the zoo so its something he is comfortable with. Then we are going to the hotel. Swim, eat check the place out.

Sunday we can't decide wich park to hit first. Any ideas?

We are going to go to Downtown Disney on our first day.(Sun 13th) Last trip we went to a park on the first day and it was a bit too much for the kids after an early flight. Plus the kids want to go to Once Upon A Toy Store in DTD to do the "Build Your Own Lightbaber" right away! As soon as we heard about this it was first on their list of things to do !! Anyone else taking their DS to do this??
We are probably going to go visit ASM resort too on our first day. Have to see those giant icons! (Buzz & Woody)

I just read about it a few months ago on AllEars website. It's called - the Build Your Own Lightsaber experience. I guess there is a big bin of lightsaber parts and the kids just build it however they want - it is electronic and has lights & sounds and vibrations. It costs $19.95 + tax and they get a Star Wars pin after completing it. They can even make a double bladed one! My boys can't wait. They already have their money saved up for it!!

Ok, that is WAY cool! My boys will love it (although I took their lightsabers away a few months ago because they were really hurting each other with them!). I'm going to go read on allears now!

My DS7 will be doing the Pirate Adventure Cruise on May 19....anyone else have their little one signed up for this?

Pirate Adventure - Children wear pirate bandannas and follow clues to search Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon for buried treasure. They sail to many exotic "ports of call" (Resort Marinas) to collect treasure. Children who are potty trained (no pull-ups) and ages 4-12 may attend. Lunch is provided (Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Gummy bears, Krispy Treat and Juice box).


Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Available to all guests. Cost is $28.17 plus tax.
Reservations 180 days in advance at 407-WDW-DINE.

"We did this the last day and it was probably my boys' favorite activity. They get a pirate hat with Mickey ears, available no where else. They load up on a boat with a Jolly Roger flag and go around the lake looking for treasure. I'm not sure exactly what they do because parents don't get to go along. yep, that's me staying at POFQ. We are flying SW out of PIT (which, by the way, if you are flying with them, check the flights...they are down again as of this morning). We got the first flight of the morning, Non stop, will arrive at 9:25 am. Can't beat it.

I don't have a favorite "land", I used to love the Pirates ride in Adventureland, but for some reason after the refurb, I don't think it was the same.

I guess I do love Fantasyland. I have such wonderful memories of riding those rides as a child, and my kids love it now, so I guess it's my favorite.

My southwest tix didn't go down hahah but i shouldn't complain as they have already dropped 56$ each since i booked them! that's enough credit for one free ticket next year! YAY since we have to buy 4!

When I called (last week), I tried to get another day, but they were full for the week. The only available spaces were on Saturday the 19th.

We are flying AirTran out of PIT. They had the best rates when I booked and they have gone up ever since, so I'm glad I got it when I did! Hopefully we will see you around POFQ! If I can ever fugure out how to post a picture on here I will!

Yes, this sunshine is new to us here in PA!! But we sure are enjoying it!! It is actually 68 degrees today. But my son's preschool tescher just told me we are supposed to get snow again this weekend. I don't think I can take it!!

As far as my favorite land in MK . . . hmm. . . that's a good question. I guess Fantasyland! Although I LOVE the thrill rides, Fantasyland is just so magical! But keep in mind, I am the one that totally missed Adventureland on my last trip! So we are looking forward to Pirates and Adventure Cruise and all that.

Marcy - I just tried to book, but GF Pirate Adveture is already sold out on the 19th. (I was hoping we could join you.)
We did book him a spot on the 18th, at the Beach Club, and his Pirate Stops will be in and around Epcot.
I asked if there was a waiting list for GF, she said no, I would just have to keep calling back and seeing if any cancellations were made.
