morning all..... i have been looking for airfare aswell.... it is going down... with continental it was at 408 yesterday now it's $253.... airtran has for $59 each way but i will have to come back at 6am in order ot get it coming back at $59... so we'll see what happens..... atleast i see that it's going back down...

Well, Southwest has a $79 flight on the way back, but no specials for the flight there. $199 business class is the cheapest. The times of the flights going there aren't that great either. Several of the flights coming back would be great. Has anyone ever flown different airlines down and back? Can you do that?

Mari - I would grab up those $59 tickets from Airtran. I don't think we are going to find them any cheaper anymore. I wonder why Airtran is still $114 for me??? IT'S NOT FAIR!

Well for the north of the border report... still have the colds, but feeling quite a bit better. With all this warm weather the germs have been settling in. But I think we will all be well enough to host my husbands family this weekend, to celebrate for my son's party.

I am so jealous of you all checking airfares.
I wish I was going now too.
I remember so well searching for fares at this time last year.

Hey DMM - Your little Roman sounds like my Chris! All eat and no sleep which is hard on the mommy! Hang in there!

We did survive the tornadoes. I was out all day yesterday with my BFF from Texarkana (I have several BFF all different locations - weird I know.) She is getting married in March and we were shopping for her wedding dress. We kept singing - It's like rain on your wedding (dress) day, a free ride, when you already paid. It rained until about noon and the sky was dark, the radio was reporting storm warnings after every song. I know Shelly was talking about paying for nice weather. Here we pay for warm weather in January by having tornadoes. Something about cold air meets warm air and wham! Tornado! Our temp dropped 27 degrees from yesterday.

Sulley- Did you get the computer set-up? Not much longer!

DMM - So good to hear from you! Sorry about the baby not sleeping so well. I sure remember those days! Just think of it this way, by the time your next Disney trip comes around the baby should be sleeping very well!!

NewCrew - Glad you are alright. That stinks about the tornadoes. Our temperature dropped over 20 degrees since yesterday too. We had 60 mph winds last night, it was so loud! It has calmed down a bit today, but I'm not sure what we are in for tonight. Probably more rain.

Tonight is my Monthly Mommy's Dinner. We are going to the Melting Pot has anyone ever been there? They just opened up over here. I love melted cheese. YUMMY

MORNING all.... I'm so excited everyone looking for airfare that must mean that vacation is closer.... Oh how I can't wait......oh yeah DISNEY!!!!

Mornin.

Been a rough 24 hours for me.

Went to the Ortho yesterday and he said, thank god, I don't need surgery, that the radiologist was wrong, the ACL is not torn. He said my knee is swollen and proceeded to give me a cortisone shot. Um, for those of you who don't know it, nurses are the worst
patients. I made someone hold my hand. It hurt like the fool! The nurse, whose hand I was holding, yelled and said "Yow, you've got quite a grip!". Oops, sorry.

Came home with a knee brace that goes up my thigh halfway and halfway down my calf. Laid on the couch doing nothing until cramps in my toes and foot started. I yelled and screamed and hobbled, crying into the office where Mark was working and he threw me on the floor, tried to massage it out, all the while I'm screaming like a baby and tears rolling, mascara everywhere. Nothing was working so he jumps over ( I still don't know how he did it) the very large desk we have in there, goes to the freezer and grabs the first cold thing he can find.
It was Ice cream. This was, in all actuality a good thing. I am now the proud owner of a half gallon of vanilla because everyone said they weren't eating something that Mom had her feet all over. Anyone got a spoon?

He comes back and proceeds to put my foot on the container for 10 more minutes until it stopped. Boy it hurt like a son of a gun. So he carried me to the couch and in comes Drew, yelling "MOOOOOMMMMMMM!" comes around the corner, sees my face with mascara and tears and runs screaming from the room. Quite comical, you see.

So I go to bed exhausted at 9pm, only to be awakened by INTENSE itching all over my body at midnight. Hum, seems I'm allergic to the shot. Mark wakes up wanting to take me to the ER, but I said no that I would suffer alone downstairs, sniff, sniff. So I took 50mg of Benadryl (25 ususally sends me into a stumbling stupor) and finally fell asleep at almost 4am. Mary Cat gets up at 5:30, and I swear, I don't think I would survive without Mark. He got everyone ready, lunches made, breakfast for all and out the door before going to work. But before he left, he made me a "superstar" (my codeword for can you make me some coffee please with cream and sugar).

What a man. He deserves lots.

With all that being said, I think I am on the mend, but boy, what a pain in the **** I've been.

I needed some retail therapy ( my mom's solution for when bad things happen to good people) and I couldn't go anywhere. Aha! 50% off at Disneyshopping!
So, I spent $200, but really it came out to $100, and I got Belle her Tinkerbelle outfit for MNSSHP in October! YAY! Lots of fun stuff. I highly recommend it.
