Hey Huggie!

I need to start my baking sometime soon. I don't mind baking, it's just the thought of getting started! I usually make about 8 different kinds of cookies. I need to start a grocery list and get all the stuff and then just do it!


DMM - How are you and the baby???

Jo - How are you? Cold, I know! It's so windy today. It's was garbage day today and everyone's trash cans are all over the road!

Mari - How's the new job going? Still good?

Seacrest - Glad you got your DSL fixed finally! I am still having computer troubles myself. I need to take it to the repair guy. He says he can have it running like new for about $85. It's just the inconvenience of taking it and leaving it for a day or two. So I keep putting it off. . .

Sulley - How are you? Getting excited I bet!

I have been buying here and there for my baking needs. I only need chocolate bars and nuts. I make about 10 different types of cookies about 6 dozen each and I also make 4 types of fudge, peppermint bark and chocolate covered pretzels. Dh doesnt eat any of it. I give it all out to friends and family.
I usually get it all done in about 3 days. I am tired thinking about it.

Howdy MAYers!

Hope everyone is doing good.

I had two MRI's done the other day, one on my knee, the other on my foot.

Here's something funny. I had on a metal belt. As the technician began pushing the table in underneath the magnet, my whole middle section was lifted up. The magnet was so strong that it lifted me, right off of the table because of my belt. Well, now, that's not something that happens everyday...

I kind of felt like the roadrunner...you know how the coyote was always buying a huge magnet from Acme co. in the Looney Tunes cartoons????? In fact, that popped into my head, and I said "self, I can't wait to share that with the MAYers."

I haven't even started looking at my cookbooks yet to see what I want to bake this year.

Anyone finished with their Christmas Cards yet?????

I finally got those Disney DVD's I ordered a month ago!!

They are pretty good for the most part. Except one of them does not work. They are sending me a replacement. Of course it's the one that has all the good stuff on it! (spectromagic, wishes, a lot of MK stuff)

It has been fun watching them! Soarin makes you feel like you are really there!

Oh how am I going to make it another 5 months 1 week and 3 days ?!?

Lunch report: Went to Subway - Had the steak and cheese, bbq chips and a Coke. I don't think Jared would have approved my meal today.

Shelly: Thanks for the DVD video review. How many hours long are they? Are they narrated or have any special music?

Jo: Very funny story about your MRI experience - that would be a funny scene in a movie.

Huggie: Is your baking done yet? Are you packed yet?

YAY we made it to 800... i'm actually getting ready to meet up with my MIL she wants to take pics of her grandkids...

Okay, so here are the results of my MRi's...

as far as my toe that is swollen, it's not broken, there is fluid (lots of it) on it, and I have to start taking a high, high dose of steroids to see if it will decrease the inflammation. It *could* be a sign of arthritis that isn't showing up yet in blood tests.

As for my knee...

There seems to be fluid on it, as well as a tear to my ACL. So I have to see an orthopeadic surgeon and possible have surgery to fix it.

Lovely.

I KNEW there was a reason we chose to go to WDW next November!~

Has anyone heard that Space Mountain may be undergoing a huge refurb beginning in either April or May? And the TTA would be closed down as well during that time. It may take anywhere from 12-18 months to fix.

I heard that news about the SM closure too. It appears that they are going to give it the same makeover that the one at DL got a while back. That means new track, better effects, new rockets with speakers on each set for the music just like seats on the Rockin' Rollercoaster ride. It will definitely be an emprovement and a much enjoyable experience!

supposedly there is some wicked stomach bug going around in WDW that lots of people were catching recently.
I was reading about it on the resorts board.

Make sure you take some disenfectants!
