So I got my 2008 WDW calendar in the mail yesterday!! I am busy decorating Mother's Day week with Disney stickers for vacation!!

Has anyone ever used Priceline?

Mella - I don't think anyone has gotten their airline tickets yet. We are all still waiting on a sale!!

I have never used Priceline. I have looked into it and all the others, but it has always been cheaper to book straight through the airline for me.

Wow, your plans are all coming together so nicely for the meet at WCC! Someone please take a life size cardboard cut out of me and prop it up in the seat next to you so I can be there too.

Shelly! Woo hoo, mail! I can't wait! Thanks! I am going to try to go to the Disney Store maybe tomorrow. The kids go back to school on Friday so I need to do something fun with them before that.

Today we are making The Gingerbread house that suddenly appeared in my shopping cart in Costco. The kids only are interested in knowing when they can eat the candy.

I heard from the Dr yesterday...
The latest round of tests have come back negative. Now I have to go in for an MRI of some joints. I am really sick of this, but gosh, I am feeling really good on the steroids and antiinflammatory I am on. Tomorrow is my last day on the steroid, so we'll see if it all comes back once I am off.


JC~ Wow. I hope they do something beautiful like that to the castle next year when I am there. I loved it when the castle had all of the gold on it and was sorry they took it all down, It was my favorite.
Now the cake on the other hand, that they did...ugh. How whimsical.

What's a good price for a Disney autograph book???

The kids have never done this yet and they want to in MAY. So I was looking on Ebay so I could get them for the kids for Christmas, but I don't want to get ripped off too bad!!

Still not a clue as to when our next trip might be. I am trying to get is all together for our girls weekend in Dallas!

I need to find my AP's to find out when they expire.
I would really like to go at Christmas but I just read how crowded it is.

Then I think Spring Break might be nice, but it will crowded too.

Hi guys!

Just got back from the dentist - 7 am appointment. Man, it is going to be warm today. It is suppose to reach up to 81! Who left the heater on?

Got a DVC package in the mail yesterday. I don't know how we got on their list, we never have stopped by their booths you trip over every 100 feet. Doesn't really fit for our family, but it does make sense if you want to experience Disney repeatedly for your vacations.

Wife is at Disney today. On Friday she brought home their weekly publication called Newsreel and inside of it was a air freshner advertising their Christmas programming. I will have to take a picture of it and post it. Too funny.

What is everyone having for lunch? I need to make plans soon.

Has anyone ever used Priceline?

I've used Priceline, but not to get to Orlando. I used it to go from Huntington, WV to Lincoln, NE and got a pretty good deal, BUT both of those are really small airports (think two airlines, 8 flights a day small) and REALLY hard to get a deal out of, so Priceline was the only way to go. I did end up on the last incoming flight of the day, but outgoing was mid-afternoon which wasn't too bad...

I'd do a search to see what the cheapest flights are on their site, if they're something you can live with, then see about bidding them down. Also betterbidding.com has some great tips about using Priceline/Hotwire.

If memory serves me correctly, they're 12.95 at WDW (and you can order them from there and have them shipped through mail order...let me know if you want the contact info I have it here somewhere ).....

Something you might want to consider if you want to do something a little more personalized would be getting a unlined bound journal and decorating it with their name and favorite character stickers, things like that. That's what I did the first time I went and that's what I'm doing for my sister for Christmas.

Jo- Glad you are feeling better. I just went to the Disney store today and got Tinkerbell costumes for the girls for Christmas they were 50% off. I also got there christmas pj's. Dh loves when the girls have the matching christmas pj's.


Shelly- I can get the books for you. Just let me know and I can mail it when I get back. It wont take long from NY to PA. Maybe you should make them. Maybe buy all the accesories and have them make it. They might like it more

Guess what I'm cooking for supper... The kids are so excited about the Balsamic Chicken.

When we go to Charleston for Christmas, Beauty and the Beast is at one of their theaters. I'm thinking of taking the girls, especially Belle. You know the child would be up on stage if she could be, singing her heart out to "her" Beast.
Tickets are running around $37. Hummmmm..... I wonder if there's a code for that... Isn't there a code for everything??????
